1.04 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:<br />

A. The heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems shall be controlled<br />

automatically from an internet based Direct Digital Control (DDC) temperature control system.<br />

All set points shall be adjustable. Equipment identified as being interlocked shall be s<strong>of</strong>tware<br />

interlocked through the DDC system unless noted otherwise or indicated on the electrical<br />

drawings. All installed DDC systems shall be compatible to Johnson Controls Metasys<br />

System.<br />

B. Control system consists <strong>of</strong> sensors, indicators, actuators, final control elements, interface<br />

equipment, other apparatus, accessories, and s<strong>of</strong>tware connected to distributed controllers<br />

operating in multiuser, multitasking environment on token-passing network and programmed<br />

to control mechanical systems. <strong>State</strong> standard for DDC systems is Johnson Controls Metasys<br />

System.<br />
