SECTION 124813 - ENTRANCE FLOOR MATS AND FRAMES
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS:

Conditions and DIVISION 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section.
1.02 SUMMARY:
A. This Section includes the following:
1. Entrance mats in recessed frames.
B. Related Sections include the following:
1. DIVISION 03 Section "Cast-in-Place Concrete" for slab depression grouting and filling
for recessed mats and frames.

1.04 SUBMITTALS:
A. Product Data: Include construction details, material descriptions, dimensions of individual
components and profiles, and finishes.
B. Shop Drawings: Show the following:
1. Perimeter floor moldings.
C. Samples: For each type of product indicated.
1. Floor Mat: 12-inch square, assembled sections of floor mat.
2. Tread Rail: 12-inch long Sample of each type and color.
3. Frame Members: 12-inch long Sample of each type and color.
1.05 CLOSEOUT SUBMITTALS:
A. Maintenance Data: For floor mats and frames to include in maintenance manuals.
1.06 MAINTENANCE MATERIAL SUBMITTALS:
A. Furnish extra materials described below that match products installed and that are packaged
with protective covering for storage and identified with labels describing contents.
1. Entrance Tiles: Full-size units equal to 2% of amount installed for each size, color, and
pattern indicated, but no fewer than 10 units.
