H. NFPA:<br />

1. NFPA 253-2006 - Method <strong>of</strong> Test for Critical Radiant Flux <strong>of</strong> Floor Covering Systems<br />

Using a Radiant Heat Energy Source.<br />

1.04 SUBMITTALS:<br />

A. Product Data: For each type <strong>of</strong> product.<br />

1. Include manufacturer's written data on physical characteristics, durability, and fade<br />

resistance.<br />

2. Include installation recommendations for each type <strong>of</strong> substrate.<br />

B. LEED Submittals:<br />

1. Product Data for Credit EQ 4.3:<br />

a. For carpet tile, documentation indicating compliance with testing and product<br />

requirements <strong>of</strong> CRI's "Green Label Plus" program.<br />

b. For installation adhesive, documentation including printed statement <strong>of</strong> VOC<br />

content.<br />

2. Product Data for Credit MRc4: For products containing recycled content, submit<br />

documentation indicating percentages, by weight, <strong>of</strong> post-consumer and pre-consumer<br />

recycled content for each product or portion <strong>of</strong> a product having recycled content.<br />

Include statement indicating cost for each product containing recycled content material.<br />

3. Product Data for Credit MRc5: For products and materials complying with requirements<br />

for regional materials, submit documentation indicating location and distance from<br />

Project <strong>of</strong> material manufacturer and point <strong>of</strong> extraction, harvest, or recovery for each<br />

raw material. Include statement indicating cost for each regional material and the<br />

fraction by weight that is considered regional.<br />

C. Shop Drawings: Show the following:<br />

1. Carpet tile type, color, and dye lot.<br />

2. Type <strong>of</strong> subfloor.<br />

3. Type <strong>of</strong> installation.<br />

4. Pattern <strong>of</strong> installation.<br />

5. Pattern type, location, and direction.<br />

6. Pile direction.<br />

7. Transition details to other flooring materials.<br />

D. Samples: For each <strong>of</strong> the following products and for each color and texture required. Label<br />

each Sample with manufacturer's name, material description, color, pattern, and designation<br />

indicated on Drawings and in schedules.<br />

1. Carpet Tile: Full-size Sample.<br />

2. Exposed Edge, Transition, and Other Accessory Stripping: 12-inch long Samples.<br />

E. Sustainability: Provide the <strong>State</strong>ment <strong>of</strong> the Achievement Level the carpet has attained for<br />

Gold, 52 to 70 points, based on specific Sustainable Attribute Performance for all product<br />

stages according to ANSI/NSF 140.<br />

1.05 INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS:<br />

A. Qualification Data: For Installer.<br />

B. Product Test Reports: For carpet tile, for tests performed by a qualified testing agency.<br />

C. Sample Warranty: For special warranty.<br />
