The benefits of insurance undercover cannot be over-emphasized as there is no gainsaying that signing insurance policies can provide a cover for risks and damages to come which are a part of everyday life. On this basis, several recommendations have been made: • A well-planned awareness programme should be carried out in order to enlighten people in the basis and uses of insurance. • The government has an important role to play in motivating people in signing insurance policies. • Various institutional orders should provide encouragement for signing insurance policies e.g. the health sector, religious system, educational sector etc. • On the part of the insurance companies, the companies should ensure that their services are reliable and trustworthy in that the services should not have too much bureaucratic process in taking an insurance policy or receiving their claim.
