For this reason, future research should: be conducted with a larger and more representative sample; cover the opinions of a more significant number of top managers in all public and private organizations in Nigeria and identify several other barriers to the participation of women in management which may not have been featured in this research study. The generalizability of the results obtained in this study for other populations remains to be tested.
