BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MINUTES APPROVED
The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of the Board of
Trustees of November 28 and December 18, 1956, press proof copies
of which have been sent to all members of the Board in advance.
On motion of Mr. Swain, the minutes were approved as printed on
pages 147 to 180, inclusive.
APRIL MEETING
By unanimous consent, the Board agreed to hold its April meeting on
Thursday, April 18, 1957, in Chicago, at an hour and place to be
designated by the President and Secretary of the Board.
MEETINGS OF BOARD COMMITTEES
The Committee on Buildings and Grounds met at 10:00 a.m. today to
consider reports and recommendations from the President and other
University officials relating to the University's building program. The
Committee on the Chicago Departments will meet this afternoon, following
the Board meeting, to continue its consideration of policies
governing admissions to the Research and Educational Hospitals. The
Secretary stated that he will file with the records of today's Board
meeting minutes of these committee meetings.
On motion of Mr. Johnston, the Board adjourned.
