Neurological Surgery, College <strong>of</strong> Medicine, beginning April 15, 1957, at an<br />

annual salary <strong>of</strong> $4,800.<br />

2. JOHN MORRIS, Safety Coordinator, Safety and Fire Protection Board, Office<br />

<strong>of</strong> Nonacademic Personnel, beginning July 1, 1957, at an annual salary <strong>of</strong><br />

$8,500.<br />

3. HARRY R. MURPHY, Placement Officer, Office <strong>of</strong> Nonacademic Personnel, beginning<br />

July 26, 1957, at an annual salary <strong>of</strong> $4,800.<br />

4. SHIRLEY R. TEPPER, Assistant to Social Director, Physical Plant Department<br />

(Chicago Union Building), beginning July 29, 1957, at an annual salary <strong>of</strong><br />

$3,360.<br />

5. EMMA E. TROJANEK, Chief Clerk, College <strong>of</strong> Pharmacy, beginning July 1,<br />

1957, at an annual salary <strong>of</strong> $4,200.<br />

On motion <strong>of</strong> Mr. Herrick, these appointments were confirmed.<br />

NONSALARIED FACULTY OF THE COLLEGE OF<br />

MEDICINE, 1957-58<br />

(4) I present the following list <strong>of</strong> appointments to the nonsalaried faculty ot<br />

the College <strong>of</strong> Medicine for the academic year beginning September 1, 1957.<br />

unless otherwise indicated, and request that the President <strong>of</strong> the University be<br />

authorized to make such additional appointments and other changes, and to<br />

accept resignations, as are desirable and necessary.<br />

Appointments <strong>of</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essors and Associate Pr<strong>of</strong>essors are on indefinite<br />

tenure; all others are for one year from September 1, 1957, unless otherwise<br />

stated. New appointments are so indicated.<br />

The designation (Rush) in a title is used to identify former members <strong>of</strong><br />

the Rush Medical College faculty who were taken over by the University in<br />

1941 as part <strong>of</strong> the affiliation with the Presbyterian Hospital by authority <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Board <strong>of</strong> Trustees.
