a scientific mission.<br />

may accept a fellowship in the National Agricultural Extension Center for<br />

JUNE MEETING<br />

The Secretary requested instructions from the Board regarding the<br />

time and place <strong>of</strong> the June Board meeting, previously scheduled to be<br />

held in Chicago on June 20, 1957.<br />

On motion <strong>of</strong> Mrs. Watkins, the Board voted to hold its next meeting<br />

in the LaSalle Hotel, Chicago, Illinois, on Thursday, June 20, 1957,<br />

beginning at 3:00 p.m. (Central Daylight Saving Time).<br />

MEETINGS OF BOARD COMMITTEES<br />

Mr. Livingston stated that it would be desirable to have meetings <strong>of</strong><br />

the Committees on Buildings and Grounds, General Policy, and possibly<br />

other Board committees some time in June, and asked if a date could<br />

be agreed upon for these meetings. It was the consensus <strong>of</strong> the Board<br />

that to conserve the time <strong>of</strong> all concerned, these meetings should be<br />

held on Thursday, June 20, 1957, in Chicago, since the Board will be<br />

meeting there on the same day, and the Secretary was instructed to<br />

arrange for these meetings beginning at 12:30 p.m. on that day.<br />

EXECUTIVE SESSION<br />

At this point an executive session was requested and ordered for the<br />

consideration <strong>of</strong> the following item <strong>of</strong> business relating to claims <strong>of</strong>
