CONGRESOS Y JORNADAS DE LA SEACV 151 PORTADAS CONMEMORATIVAS Han sido dos las ediciones que han tenido un carácter de conmemoración: la 25.ª Jornada Angiológica celebrada en 1979 y la 50.ª Jornada Angiológica celebrada en el 2004 (fig. 12). LOS CONTENIDOS Aunque no fuera irrealizable presentar los contenidos de 55 jornadas, indudablemente resultaría imposible en una obra de este carácter. Para poder hacerlo, sería necesaria una obra de las características de la Biblia, gran extensión y refundición del Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, pero en clave vascular. Esto, dado el carácter de esta obra, no es posible, siendo a mi juicio lo más operativo hacer un análisis generalizador de los contenidos. Las jornadas, como cualquier reunión de este tipo, tienen como objetivo primordial e inicial que un grupo de personas con un interés común en un tema puedan comunicarse periódicamente las inquietudes, problemas y logros conseguidos respecto a ese tema y las perspectivas del mismo. Con el paso del tiempo, a ese objetivo se van añadiendo otros que, aunque en teoría son menos importantes, son reales y relevantes o como mínimo sentidos como tales. Uno sería el prestigio local y entre colegas que supone organizar y llevar a buen puerto un congreso. El otro la observación y valoración de las tendencias dentro de la especialidad, sus círculos y grupos de influencia y las posibles repercusiones de todo ello en el porvenir de la especialidad. Los dos son, además de lógicos, legítimos, y son habituales y constantes en las reuniones de cualquier especialidad. Todos estos objetivos van a conformar la evolución de las jornadas; la exposición siguiente va a intentar presentar las tendencias científicas, asistenciales y también político-profesionales reflejadas en las jornadas y su evolución a lo largo del tiempo. Esta exposición necesariamente va a ser un tanto epidérmica, no sólo, como ya se ha dicho, por la dificultad de obtener y reflejar la gran canti-
