s’est toujours consacré à la découverte
de l’autre, interroge et s’interroge. Les
protagonistes du film ne répondent
pas. Ils invitent plutôt le spectateur à la
découverte d’une expérience inattendue
« Les réalités, que souvent nous avons
sous nos yeux mais desquelles nous
ne savons que très peu, m’ont toujours
fasciné. Ce film est né d’une rencontre
avec un physiothérapeute non voyant.
Les choses qu’il m’a racontées, sa légèreté,
son ironie, sa capacité de vivre
sa vie m’ont donné accès à un ‘autre’
monde. J’ai commencé à l’explorer à la
recherche d’autres personnes capables
de nous aider à comprendre comment
elles pouvaient faire tout ce qu’elles faisaient,
sans rien voir. Ce fut un voyage
plein d’étonnement. » (SS)

wir nicht sehen Der Filmemacher, der
sich in seinen Spiel- und Dokumentarfilmen
stets der Entdeckung des Anderen
gewidmet hat, stellt sich und seinen
Mitmenschen Fragen. Die Protagonisten
des Films antworten nicht. Vielmehr
laden sie den Zuschauer zu einem unerwarteten
Erlebnis ein. «Die Wirklichkeiten,
die wir oft direkt vor Augen haben,
von denen wir aber nur sehr wenig
wissen, haben mich immer fasziniert.
Dieser Film ist aus der Begegnung mit
einem blinden Physiotherapeuten entstanden.
Die Dinge, die er erzählt hat,
seine Leichtigkeit, seine Ironie und seine
Fähigkeit, sein Leben zu leben, haben
mir eine ‘andere’ Welt eröffnet. Deren
Erforschung habe ich mit der Suche
nach weiteren Personen begonnen, die
in der Lage sind, uns zu einem besseren
Verständnis darüber zu verhelfen, wie sie
ohne zu sehen ihren Weg gehen. Eine
Reise des Staunens.» (SS)

who has always dedicated himself to
the discovery of otherness in his films
(whether features or documentaries),
asks questions and asks himself questions.
The protagonists of the film do not
answer. Instead, they invite the spectator
to discover an unexpected experience:
“Realities, which we often have before
our eyes but about which we only know
very little, have always fascinated me.
This film was born from an encounter
with a blind physiotherapist. The things
that he told me, his nimbleness, his irony,
his ability to live his life gave me access
to ‘another’ world. I began to explore it,
looking for other people capable of helping
us to understand how they could do
all they did without seeing anything. The
