Le capitaine Jack et ses pirates vivent
sur une plage sauvage de la mer Noire.
On murmure qu’un marin célèbre y aurait
enterré son trésor. Motivés par leur soif
de l’or, ces marginaux s’acharnent sur
les roches et rêvent de ce qu’ils pourraient
faire avec cette fortune. Depuis
longtemps, les femmes ne croient plus
à la belle robe blanche de mariage tant
promise et cette terre protégée doit
désormais céder la place à un complexe
hôtelier de luxe, forçant les pirates à
partir. Avec un humour tendre, le réalisateur
bulgare Svetoslav Stoyanov
esquisse le portrait d’un monde dont on
ne peut pas croire qu’il existe encore.
Une impression renforcée par de belles
séquences oniriques. Dans un style typiquement
balkanique – avec des personnages
étranges, une bonne dose de
testostérone et d’essence (quand cette
dernière vient à en manquer, l’âne se fait
déguiser en Mercedes ), des émotions
intenses, des voix fortes et des sangliers
capturés à mains nues –, Poslednite
chernomorski pirati est un film amusant
sur la recherche difficile du bonheur et
l’ivresse que fait naître l’espoir.
Der charismatische Kapitän Jack und
seine Piraten leben auf einem wilden
Strand am Schwarzen Meer. Ein legendärer
osmanischer Seefahrer soll hier
seinen Schatz vergraben haben. Goldfiebrig
sprengen diese Aussteiger Felsstücke
in die Luft und träumen davon,
was sie mit all dem vielen Gold machen
würden. Die Frauen glauben schon
längst nicht mehr an das versprochene
weisse Hochzeitskleid, und nun soll das
geschützte Landstück auch noch einem
Luxusressort weichen und die Piraten
verdrängen. Mit liebevollem Humor
zeichnet der bulgarische Filmemacher
Svetoslav Stoyanov eine Welt, an deren
Existenz man kaum noch glaubt – verstärkt
wird dieser Eindruck durch die
schönen Traumsequenzen. Dem typischen
Balkan-Stil getreu, mit skurrilen
Charakteren, viel Testosteron und
Benzin – wenn letzteres ausgeht wird
der Esel als Mercedes verkleidet –, mit
starken Emotionen, lauten Stimmen und
von Hand gefangenen Wildschweinen.
Poslednite chernomorski pirati ist ein
vergnüglicher Film über die schwierige
Suche nach dem Glück und dem Rausch
der Hoffnung daran.
The charismatic Captain Jack and his
pirates live on a wild beach on the Black
Sea. A legendary Ottoman seafarer is
said to have buried his treasure there.
In the grip of gold fever, theses dropouts
blow lumps of rock into the air and
dream about what they would do with
all the gold. The women have long since
ceased to believe in the promised white
wedding dresses, and now the protected
plot of land is to become a luxury resort
and the pirates will be forced out. With
affectionate humour, Bulgarian filmmaker
Svetoslav Stoyanov reveals a
world it is scarcely possible to believe
still exists. This impression is reinforced
by the beautiful dream sequences. True
to typical Balkan style, filled with bizarre
characters, much testosterone and petrol
– when the latter runs out, the donkey
is dressed up as a Mercedes – with
strong emotions, loud voices and wild
boars caught by hand, Poslednite chernomorski
pirati is an enjoyable film about
the difficult search for happiness and the
frenzy that comes from hoping for it.
