vie à la promotion de la diversité culturelle<br />

focal de Viramundo – un voyage musical<br />
avec Gilberto Gil, récit d’un voyage dans<br />
l’hémisphère méridional <strong>du</strong> monde qui<br />
amène Gil de Bahia aux territoires des<br />
aborigènes australiens, des périphéries<br />
urbaines de l’Afrique <strong>du</strong> Sud à la région<br />
amazonienne. Ce périple, qui cherche à<br />
encourager les échanges à travers les<br />
nouveaux médias et à faire fusionner<br />
les différentes créativités musicales,<br />
est accompagné par le regard précis et<br />
sensible <strong>du</strong> cinéaste, qui sait comment<br />
filmer la musique et surtout comment<br />
capter le sens profond d’une rencontre.<br />

avec Gilberto Gil, an account of a trip to<br />
the southern hemisphere that takes Gil<br />
from Bahia to the lands of the Aboriginal<br />
peoples of Australia and from the urban<br />
neighbourhoods of South Africa to the<br />
Amazon region. This journey, which<br />
seeks to encourage exchanges through<br />
