Canton de vaud
Le canton de Vaud se positionne
aujourd’hui comme un des cantons leaders
en matière de soutien à la production
et à la diffusion cinématographique
romande. La Fondation romande pour le
cinéma, Cinéforom, a aujourd’hui deux
ans. La part vaudoise de son financement
représente 35 %. Il s’agit là d’un
nouveau et très important pilier du dispositif
de soutien à l’art cinématographique
déployé par le Canton de Vaud
dans le cadre de sa politique culturelle.
Un dispositif qui prend un sens supplémentaire
à travers l’aide accordée
notamment au Festival Visions du Réel,
dont les ambitions de rayonnement
international font de la ville de Nyon,
de sa région et du canton de Vaud un
lieu de rendez-vous incontournable du
cinéma du réel. Dans le contexte de
rude concurrence entre les festivals de
cinéma que Visions du Réel affronte
de manière dynamique et résolue, il est
naturel que le Canton, en partenariat
étroit avec la Ville de Nyon, accompagne
le développement de cette manifestation
de manière tout aussi résolue.
Der Kanton Waadt positioniert sich
heute als einer der führenden Kantone
bei der Förderung der Produktion
und der Verbreitung filmischer Werke
aus der französischsprachigen Schweiz.
Cinéforom, die Kinostiftung der Westschweiz,
ist heute zwei Jahre alt und
wird zu 35 % durch den Kanton Waadt
finanziert. Hierbei handelt es sich um
einen neuen, äusserst wichtigen Pfeiler
der Unterstützungsmassnahmen für
die Filmkunst, die der Kanton Waadt im
Rahmen seiner Kulturpolitik bereitgestellt
hat. Diese Massnahmen erhalten
durch die Unterstützung des Festivals
Visions du Réel, das durch seine Internationalität
die Stadt Nyon, ihre Region
und den Kanton Waadt zu einem unumgänglichen
Treffpunkt der Welt des
Dokumentarfilms macht, zusätzliches
Gewicht. Vor dem Hintergrund der starken
Konkurrenz zwischen den Filmfestivals,
der Visions du Réel entschieden
und dynamisch entgegen tritt, scheint
es nur natürlich, dass der Kanton die
Entwicklung dieser Veranstaltung in
enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt
Nyon ebenso entschieden begleitet.
The Canton of Vaud has established
itself today as one of the leading cantons
supporting film production and distribution
in French-speaking Switzerland.
Cinéforom, the Cinema Foundation
of French-Speaking Switzerland, celebrates
its 2nd anniversary today. 35 %
of the foundation’s funding comes from
Vaud. It forms a new and very important
cornerstone of the support structure for
cinematographic arts that the Canton of
Vaud is deploying as part of its cultural
policy. This system is further enhanced
through the aid granted especially to
the Visions du Réel Festival, whose
ambitions to achieve an international
standing make the Municipality of Nyon,
the region and the Canton of Vaud an
unmissable venue for cinéma du réel.
Visions du Réel is a proactive and
determined attempt to become a major
player in the strong competition that
currently exists between film festivals,
and it seems natural that the Canton, in
close partnership with the Municipality of
Nyon, should also be a committed contributor
to the development of this event.
