Henriette Henricks<br />
Miss Henrietta HENRICKS, 94, died at 8 a.m. today at the home of her brother-in-law,<br />
John LEAF, in Kewanna. Rites will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Kewanna Church of Christ. Friends<br />
may call at the Harrison funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday.<br />
W. K. Miller<br />
W. K. MILLER, R.R. 1, Akron, died at 10:30 a.m. today at his home. Rites are pending<br />
at Sheetz funeral home.<br />
Albert J. Cox<br />
Albert J. COX, R.R. 1, Akron, died this morning at 10 o’clock at his residence. Sheetz<br />
funeral home is in charge of rites.<br />
Harry M. Shorter<br />
Harry M. SHORTER, 59, Lafayette, formerly of Akron, died in St. Elizabeth’s hospital at<br />
Lafayette. Final rites will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Mary’s Cathedral in Lafayette and<br />
burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery there. Friends may call at the Zahn-Schneider funeral home<br />
in Lafayette after 2 p.m. Sunday.<br />

Patricia J. Hooker<br />
Miss Patricia Jane “Patty” HOOKER, 45, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday in<br />
Woodlawn hospital where she had been a patient one week.<br />
A lifetime resident of this city, she was born March 4, 1925, in <strong>Rochester</strong>, the daughter of<br />
Glen HOOKER and Mrs. Rex (Dorothy) MILLER MOORE.<br />
Surviving are her mother, of <strong>Rochester</strong>, the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude<br />
MILLER, <strong>Rochester</strong>, one step-sister, Mary Katherine CULLIVAN, <strong>Rochester</strong>, a step-brother,<br />
Robert D. MOORE, South Bend, and aunts and uncles.<br />
Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. V. A. LALLEMENT will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope cemetery at<br />
Athens. Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />
William K. Miller<br />
Final rites will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Sheetz funeral home in Akron<br />
for William K. MILLER, 60, R.R. 1, Akron, who died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at his residence.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Revs. Claude FAWNS and John MOORE will officiate. Burial will be in the Akron<br />
cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where Masonic services will be conducted at 9<br />
o’clock this evening.<br />
Born July 28, 1910, in Akron, he was the son of William C. and Ora KROFT MILLER.<br />
His marriage was Jan. 1, 1934, in Indianapolis to Helen YOUNG, who survives. A lifetime<br />
resident of the Akron community, Mr. Miller was a member of the Akron United Methodist<br />
church and the Akron Masonic lodge. He was an employee of the Cutler-Jones Hardware<br />
company, Peru. Surviving with his wife are one son, William A. [MILLER], Fort Wayne; two<br />
sisters, Mrs. Estil (Joanna) FOX, Bloomington, and Mrs. Forrest (Cozette) HIGGINS, of Akron.
