Hazel Boldry<br />

Mrs. Hazel Anna BOLDRY, 78, R.R. 2, Kewanna, died at 4 p.m. Sunday in Woodlawn<br />

hospital. She had been seriously ill one month.<br />

Born April 27, 1892, in Allerton, Ia., she was the daughter of Elsworth and Sarah<br />

ROCKWELL DOUGHERTY. Her marriage was Jan. 30, 1915, in Centerville, Ia., to Everett W.<br />

BOLDRY, who survives. She had lived in the Kewanna area 44 years, moving from Iowa. She<br />

was a member of the Fletcher’s Lake United Methodist church and the WSCS.<br />

Surviving with her husband are one son, Gale BOLDRY, R.R. 6, <strong>Rochester</strong>; two<br />

daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marie) LEAVELL, <strong>Fulton</strong>, and Mrs. Omar (Wanda) HAUSER, R.R. 6,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bessie YEAGER,<br />

Moline, Ill.; three brothers, Ben DOUGHERTY, Ava, Mo.; Harry [DOUGHERTY], Des Moines,<br />

Ia., and George [DOUGHERTY], of Marshalltown, Ia. Two sons, two sisters, and three brothers<br />

preceded in death.<br />

Final rites will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Ditmire-Zimmerman funeral<br />

home in <strong>Fulton</strong>. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Franklin ARTHUR will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenlawn<br />

cemetery at Mexico. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.<br />

Ethel F. Heeter<br />

Mrs. Ethel F. HEETER, 81, Fort Wayne, died at 1 a.m. today at her residence. Death was<br />

attributed to a heart attack.<br />

Born June 7, 1888, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Allison and Maria SMITH<br />

CRISLER. Her marriage was in 1917, to Arnold HEETER, who survives. She had resided in Fort<br />

Wayne six months, moving from Gary. Mrs. Heeter was a graduate of Valparaiso university and<br />

had taught school several years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Gary and<br />

the Historical Society.<br />

Surviving with her husband are two nieces, Mrs. Roy (Evelyn) MEREDITH, Akron, and<br />

Miss Grace BLESCH, Fort Wayne; one great-niece and one great-nephew.<br />

Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Haupert funeral home in Akron.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. C. M. FAWNS will officiate. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at<br />

the funeral home after 7 p.m. today until the hour of service on Tuesday.<br />

Morning Star Osburn<br />

Morning Star OSBURN, infant daughter of James and Ruthie Mae ERVIN OSBURN,<br />

Tippecanoe, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Plymouth Parkview hospital, 28 hours following her<br />

birth, on Sunday.<br />

Surviving with her parents are one brother, Steven [OSBURN], 16 months; the paternal<br />

grandparents, Earl E. OSBURN, Warsaw, and Mrs. Barbara FAWLEY, Clunette; the maternal<br />

grandparents, Mrs. Frances GARBER, Albion; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon<br />

YOUNG, Warsaw.<br />

Private services will be conducted on Wednesday at the King Memorial home in<br />

Mentone. Burial will be in the Oakwood cemetery there.
