Wilby G. Evans<br />

Wilby G. EVANS, 67, R.R. 3, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died today at 3:30 a.m. in Memorial hospital,<br />

Logansport, following an illness of one month.<br />

Born Aug. 31, 1902, in Sandusky county, Ohio, he was the son of James W. and Clara<br />

ARNOLD EVANS. His marriage was Oct. 1, 1927, in <strong>Rochester</strong>, to Rethal BEEHLER, who<br />

survives. <strong>The</strong> operator of a local poultry and gravel business, Mr. Evans had spent the majority of<br />

his life here. A 45-year member of Richland Center I.O.O.F. lodge 435 and a 12-year member of<br />

the Richland township advisory board, he was also a member of the Richland Center United<br />

Methodist church.<br />

Surviving with the wife are six sons, Robert W. EVANS, Gene R. EVANS and Larry W.<br />

EVANS, all of <strong>Rochester</strong>, Gerald R. EVANS, Fort Wayne, David L. EVANS, Muncie, and<br />

Charles M. EVANS, Indianapolis; twelve grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Don (Frances)<br />

NELSON, Argos.<br />

Final ries will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. Curtis<br />

SYLVESTER officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at<br />

the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Richland Center I.O.O.F. lodge 435 will conduct<br />

memorial services in the funeral home Thursday at 8 p.m.<br />

Thursday, June 18, <strong>1970</strong><br />

Nellie M. Miller<br />

Mrs. Nellie M. (WISE) MILLER, 85, 923 Monroe street, died today at 10 a.m. in<br />

National nursing home following an illness of two years.<br />

A lifetime resident of <strong>Rochester</strong>, she was born here Aug. 13, 1884. Her marriage was<br />

May 1, 1909, in <strong>Rochester</strong> to Fred L. MILLER, who died Feb. 7, 1960. She was a member of the<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong> Presbyterian church.<br />

Surviving is one son, Robert D. MILLER, Chicago, Ill.<br />

Private rites are pending at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.<br />

Friday, June 19, <strong>1970</strong><br />

Lenore Frasa<br />

Mrs. Lenore FRASA, 65, Bruce Lake, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Woodlawn hospital.<br />

She had been ill three months.<br />

She was born May 20, 1905, in Winamac. Her marriage was Aug. 29, 1925, to Emmett<br />

FRASA. He died in 1966.<br />

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lois MURRAY, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and Mrs. Dorothy<br />

KROHN, Winamac; one son, Norman [FRASA], Bruce Lake; thirteen grandchildren; one halfsister,<br />

Mrs. Rudy BALDWIN, Kewanna, and one half-brother, Boyd HENDERSON, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Kennedy funeral home in Winamac. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />

Keith SMITHLEY will officiate. Burial will be in the Gross cemetery at Winamac. Friends may<br />

call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
