Virginia Mills<br />
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Virginia BURKE MILLS, or Radford, Va.<br />
She was the mother of Mrs. Helen PRICHETT, of <strong>Rochester</strong>. Funeral services and burial are<br />
pending in Radford.<br />
H. E. Scott<br />
H. E. “Scotty” SCOTT, 80, 17 east Miami street, Logansport, died at Logansport<br />
Memorial hospital about 3 a.m. today of injuries suffered when he was hit by a car about 6:30 p.m.<br />
Friday.<br />
He was the father of Mrs. P. J. BOHM of <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />
Mr. Scott was crossing Third street at Miami street in Logansport on foot when he was<br />
struck. Mr. Scott’s wife, Jessie [SCOTT], died Sept. 1, 1969.<br />
Funeral services are set tentatively for Monday at the Fisher funeral home on West<br />
Market street in Logansport.<br />
Lyle A. Warren<br />
Lyle Arthur WARREN, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William WARREN, Jr.,<br />
Phoenix, Ariz., died Friday in Phoenix. He was born Dec. 11, 1967.<br />
Surviving with the parents are a twin brother, Lance William [WARREN]; another<br />
brother, Russell Dale [WARREN]; one sister, Michelle Joann [WARREN]; the maternal<br />
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale DIVIS, Phoenix; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.<br />
William WARREN, Sr., Phoenix; the maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell<br />
MOORE, Phoenix, formerly of <strong>Rochester</strong>; Mr. and Mrs. Clint YEASEL, South Bend; an aunt and<br />
uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Fred DITMIRE, Leiters Ford, and another uncle, Kenneth AYLESWORTH,<br />
Phoenix.<br />
Final rites will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Mercer Mortuary and Chapel in Phoenix.<br />
Burial will be in the Greenwood Memorial cemetery in Phoenix.<br />
Monday, January 12, <strong>1970</strong><br />
Guy O. Miller<br />
Guy O. MILLER, 78, formerly of Kewanna, died Jan. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at Mesa, Ariz.,<br />
where he had resided since 1961. He had been in failing health for the last two weeks.<br />
Born Sept. 1, 1891, near Winamac, he was the son of John and Mina FISHER MILLER.<br />
His first marriage was in 1918 to Stella FRASER. In 1956 he married Ethel Mae HOUNSHELL,<br />
who survives.<br />
Mr. Miller was a member of the United Methodist church of Kewana and the Masonic<br />
lodge of Winamac for 54 years.<br />
Surviving with the wife are one daughter, Mrs. William (Argene) SNYDER, Phoenix,<br />
Ariz.; two sons, John [MILLER], Phoenix; Warren [MILLER], R.R. 6, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one stepdaughter,<br />
Mrs. Charles (Freda) MILLER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one step-son, Dee HOUNSHELL, <strong>Rochester</strong>;<br />
eighteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.<br />
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev.<br />
Vernon LALLEMENT officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends<br />
may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
