Pearl M. Stockberger<br />
Mrs. Pearl Mae STOCKBERGER, 72, R.R. 2, Etna Green, died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday in<br />
Woodlawn hospital. She had been seriously ill one week.<br />
Born Nov. 17, 1897, at Fayette, Ohio, she was the daughter of Andrew Jackson and<br />
Emma EVERSOLE FREDERICK. Her marriage was in November, 1949, at <strong>Rochester</strong>, to Jonas<br />
STOCKBERGER, who survives. She had lived the past 20 years in this area moving from<br />
Tippecanoe. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary at <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />
Also surviving are one son, Gerald McQUILLAN, R.R. 1, Tippecanoe; a daughter, Mrs.<br />
Donald WOLFE, Jackson, Mich.; two step-sons, Gorman STOCKBERGER, Portage, Mich., and<br />
Norman STOCKBERGER, Warsaw; one step-daughter, Mrs. Clarence JACKSON, <strong>Fulton</strong>; ten<br />
step-grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.<br />
Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the King Memorial home in Mentone.<br />
Burial will b e in the Reichter cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m.<br />
Thursday.<br />
Clara Belle Stoudt<br />
Mrs. Clara Belle STOUDT, 95, R.R. 4, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the<br />
Pulaski Memorial hospital in Winamac.<br />
Born Feb. 28, 1875, in Farmers City, Ill., she was the daughter of Isaac and Sarah<br />
STEVENS DURBIN. Her marriage was in 1905, to Albert P. STOUDT, who died in December,<br />
1941. A former schoolteaqcher, she was a member of the Zion Gospel Chapel near Kewanna.<br />
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth HOOVER, R.R. 4, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and Mrs.<br />
Bertha McKINSEY, Montebella, Cal.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and nieces and<br />
nephews. One son preceded in death.<br />
Final rites will be condeucted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Harrison Garden chapel in<br />
Kewanna. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Kewanna. Friends may call at the funeral<br />
home after noon on Thursday.<br />
Ada S. Marriner<br />
Mrs. Ada S. MARRINER, 76, 1600 Monroe street, died at 5:55 a.m. today in the<br />
National Nursing home here, where she had been a patient since last July.<br />
Born Jan. 10, 1894 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of George and Maude<br />
BARRY SPIRES. She had lived here 1 1/2 years, moving from Torrington, Conn. She was<br />
married Aug. 30, 1917, in Natick, Mass., to George MARRINER, who died in 1964.<br />
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Beatrice) HEWITT, <strong>Rochester</strong>; two<br />
grandchildren, and a great-grandson.<br />
<strong>The</strong> body will be removed from the Foster & Good funeral home to Faford Nutting<br />
mortuary in Torrington, Conn., where services are pending.
