Mrs. Lon Walker<br />
Mrs. Lon WALKER, Indianapolis, died suddenly in her home Friday morning following<br />
a heart attack. Mrs. Walker had owned a vacation home on the Tippecanoe River near Talma.<br />
Surviving are one son, Alonzo E. WALKER; one daughter, Mrs. Russell ECKART,<br />
Logansport, and four grandchildren. Final rites will be Monday morning at 10 o’clock in the<br />
Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, Indianapolis.<br />
Hazel Ream<br />
Final rites will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for Mrs.<br />
Hazel REAM, 84, 124 West Ninth street, who died Thursday at 11:30 p.m. in Woodlawn hospital.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. Josef PALAT will officiate. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. cemetery.<br />
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday after 5 p.m.<br />
Her husband, George E. “Buck” REAM, died in 1955. <strong>The</strong>ir marriage was in 1918.<br />

Charles M. Eikenberry<br />
Charles M. EIKENBERRY, 79, Peru, died Wednesday at 11:10 p.m. in his home.<br />
Born Jan. 22, 1891, in Peru, he was the son of Ira L. and Ida L. MAUN EIKENBERRY.<br />
His marriage was April 4, 1917, in Denver, to Goldie R. LINDENSMITH, who survives. A<br />
retired farmer, he was a member of the Denver Brethren church, and the Indiana Farm Bureau.<br />
Surviving with the wife are five children, Miss Georgiana EIKENBERRY, Winona Lake,<br />
Frances WILLIAMS, LaRue, Ohio, Dallas EIKENBERRY, Chili, Ind., Laurabelle COLE, Peru,<br />
and Doris Lee WALTERS, Windsor, Ind.; fifteen grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Rebecca<br />
SHOEMAKER, Galveston.<br />
Final rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m., in the McCain Funeral Home at U.S. 31 and Ind. 16.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. George HAPNER will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Mexico.<br />
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday.<br />
Dorothea Elliott<br />
Mrs. Dorothea ELLIOTT, 58, Plymouth, died in her home early Wednesday morning<br />
following a heart attack.<br />
Born June 20, 1911, in Argos, she was married Nov. 12, 1929, in Argos, to Alfred<br />
ELLIOTT, who survives. She had lived in Plymouth three years, moving from Argos. She was a<br />
member of the Argos United Methodist church.<br />
Surviving with the husband are four daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Mildred) OSBORN,<br />
Lafayette; Mrs. James (Fern) GOEN, Paragon; Mrs. Wendell (Joyce) WARNER and Mrs. Joseph<br />
(Mary Lou) REX, both of Argos; two sons, Earl Eugene ELLIOTT, Bourbon, and Darrell<br />
ELLIOTT, Mentone; twenty-two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nathaniel (Edith) ROSS and<br />
Mrs. Carlton (Marguerite) BAKER, both of Kokomo, and one brother, John LOWERY, Plymouth.<br />
Final rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Grossman funeral home, Argos. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Robert<br />
HANSEN will officiate. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery. Friends may call at<br />
the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
