Dr. Ray Stingely<br />

Last rites were held Thursday in Decatur for Dr. Ray STINGELY, former resident of<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong> county who had practiced dentistry in Decatur for 30 years. Surviving are the wife, the<br />

former Mildred MILLER; one son, Major Norman STINGELY, in California; one grandson; one<br />

sister, Mrs. Fred MILLS; a niece and nephew.<br />

T. Edith Hattery<br />

Mrs. T. Edith HATTERY, 78, 719 Madison street, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday in<br />

Woodlawn hospital, where she was admitted March 20. Ill for several years she had been in<br />

serious condition for three weeks.<br />

A lifetime resident of <strong>Rochester</strong> and vicinity, Mrs. Hattery was born Oct. 17, 1891 in<br />

Athens to Franklin and Elizabeth McGEE MOORE. She was married Feb. 15, 1913 in <strong>Rochester</strong><br />

to George Clifton HATTERY, who died in 1945. She was a member of the Athens Church of<br />

God.<br />

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Opal SWEET, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and Mrs. Mary Jane POLK,<br />

South Bend; four sons, Robert Lee and Leonard [HATTERY], both of <strong>Rochester</strong>, William<br />

[HATTERY], Peru, and George [HATTERY], Bruce Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Vera SWARTZ and<br />

Mrs. Hilda JACKSON, both of <strong>Rochester</strong>; sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-four greatgrandchildren.<br />

A son, Harry [HATTERY], a brother, and a sister preceded in death.<br />

Last rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the<br />

Rev. C. J. MOWRER officiating. Burial will be in the Athens Mount Hope cemetery. Friends<br />

may call at the funeral home after 7 o’clock tonight.<br />

Rudolph Boelter<br />

Rudolph G. BOELTER, 74, retired floor decorator who was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ira<br />

BAKER of <strong>Rochester</strong>, suffered a heart attack Friday night and died at Woodlawn hospital at 8<br />

a.m. today. He resided in Shawono, Wis. He formerly lived in <strong>Rochester</strong>, moving in 1919 to<br />

Chicago and then to Shawono.<br />

Survivors include the wife, Louise [BOELTER], and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Meda<br />

BOELTER, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Final rites are pending at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.<br />

Monday, April 13, <strong>1970</strong><br />

Stephen A. Wall<br />

Stephen A. WALL, 33, Lebanon, son of Richard and Dorothy DENISTON WALL, died<br />

Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Lebanon hospital at Lebanon.<br />

He was born June, 1936, in <strong>Rochester</strong>. He was stricken with polio in 1949. He attended<br />

Indiana university two years and was office manager of Brian’s House of Flowers in Lebanon.<br />

Final rites will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Russell and Hitch funeral home, Lebanon.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Richard DAWES will officiate. Burial will be in the Dover cemetery, near Lebanon.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home.
