Frederick H. Sheane<br />

Frederick H. SHEANE, 67, 1416 Jefferson street, died at 5:03 a.m. today in Memorial<br />

hospital in South Bend. He had been a patient two days.<br />

Born May 16, 1903, in Middlesex, England, he was the son of James and Florence<br />

SWIFT SHEANE. His marriage was Jan. 21, 1925, in Crown Point, to Rose E. COPELAND, who<br />

survives. An auto mechanic, he had resided here since 1967. He came to Winnipeg, Can. at the<br />

age of seven and moved to New ork in 1922. In his later years he worked as a repairman on<br />

electrical appliances.<br />

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Alice) PLANTZ, R.R. 4,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>; Mrs. Richard (Murial) VERHAEGHE, Crete, Ill.; seven grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter;<br />

two sisters, Mrs. Patrick (Ella) HARDING, Boston, Mass.; Mrs. Leslie (Dorothy)<br />

GARRETT, Winnipeg, Can.; four brothers, Albert and Harold [SHEANE], Vancouver, B.C.;<br />

Cecil [SHEANE], of Winnipeg, and Elmer [SHEANE], Covington, La. One daughter and one son<br />

preceded in death.<br />

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Foster & Good funeral home. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />

Allen JUMP will officiate. Burial will be in the Bruce Lake cemetery. Friends may call at the<br />

funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.<br />

Horace D. Eubank<br />

Horace D. EUBANK, 72, Anderson, died unexpectedly at 3:30 p.m. Saturday of a heart<br />

attack at his summer residence at the We-Like-It Trailer Court on Lake Manitou.<br />

Born June 17, 1898, in Indianapolis, he had resided in Anderson 40 years and was a<br />

summer resident at Lake Manitou five years. He was a former motion picture projectionist.<br />

Surviving with his wife, Helen [EUBANK], are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Virginia)<br />

STEVENS, Noblesville, one step-son, William REED, Anderson, and six grandchildren.<br />

Mr. Eubank’s body was removed from the Foster & Good funeral home to the Brown and<br />

Butz funeral home in Anderson where final arrangements are pending.<br />

Samuel D. Rhoades<br />

Samuel D. RHOADES, 71, Fort Wayne, brother of Mrs. Dove McCLONE of Mentone,<br />

died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in Fort Wayne Lutheran hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday<br />

in the D. O. McComb and Sons funeral home, 1140 Lake avenue, Fort Wayne, and burial will be<br />

in Greenlawn Memorial Park cemetery at Fort Wayne. Friends may call at the funeral home after<br />

7 o’clock tonight.
