Alfred M. Shambarger<br />

Alfred M. SHAMBARGER, 75, Macy, died Thursday at 12:55 p.m. in a Fort Wayne<br />

hospital.<br />

Born Jan. 28, 1895, in Mexico, he was the son of Lewis and Frances ALLEN<br />

SHAMBARGER.<br />

Surviving are two brothers, Daniel H. SHAMBARGER, Mexico, and Lewis J.<br />

SHAMBARGER, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, two sisters, and two<br />

brothers preceded in death.<br />

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 12 noon in the Plainview cemetery,<br />

Macy. <strong>The</strong> Rev. William SHEWMAN will officiate. Burial will be in the Plainview cemetery.<br />

Friends may call at Foster & Good funeral home between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday.<br />

Thomas W. Murden<br />

Thomas W. MURDEN, 53, Peru, a summer resident of Lake Manitou, died in his home<br />

Thursday at 6:30 a.m. He had suffered a heart attack.<br />

Born May 18, 1916, in Peru, he was the son of Jesse L. and Mary RADEL MURDEN.<br />

His marriage was Nov. 15, 1939, to Pauline BRITTIAN, who survives. A former employee of the<br />

Chesapeake and Ohio railroad, he was a member of the St. Charles Catholic church and Phi Delta<br />

Kappa.<br />

Surviving with the wife are his mother, and one sister, Miss Ruth MURDEN, both of<br />

Peru.<br />

Final rites will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the St. Charles Catholic church. Father<br />

RUFFING will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery, Peru. Friends may call at the<br />

Eikenberry funeral home in peru after 3 p.m. Friday. <strong>The</strong> Rosary will be recited at the funeral<br />

home Friday at 8 p.m.<br />

Nada W. Henning<br />

Nada W. HENNING, 64, died Thursday in Woodlawn hospital.<br />

Born Sept. 4, 1905, in Pendleton, she was the daughter of Charles B. and Effie Esther<br />

PRITCHARD HIATT. Her marriage was in 1934 to Charles D. HENNING, who died in 1960. A<br />

cook at the Culver elementary school, she was a member of the Kewanna Baptist church where<br />

she had been the pianist for 35 years.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Miss Mary Esther HENNING, Culver, and one brother, Paul<br />

HIATT, South Bend.<br />

Final rites will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Baptist church, Kewanna. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Otis<br />

STONE will officiate, and the Rev. Raymond HOFFEDITZ will assist. Burial will be in the<br />

I.O.OF. cemetery, Kewanna. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 pm. today and one<br />

hour before services Saturday at the church.
