Final rites will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Foster & Good funeral home for<br />

Miss Ann WAGONER, 50, <strong>Rochester</strong>, who died Tuesday morning. <strong>The</strong> Rev. C. J. MOWRER<br />

will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home<br />

after 9 a.m. Thursday.<br />

Miss Wagoner’s body was found early Tuesday morning in a room in the Ghrist motel<br />

here.<br />

Deputy <strong>County</strong> Coroner Dr. Wayne KNOCHEL ordered an autopsy which was<br />

performed Tuesday afternoon.<br />

State Police Detective Donald SMITH said today the pathologist report submitted by Dr.<br />

David ALSTOTT showed evidence of a foreign substance in the stomacvh of Miss Wagoner. <strong>The</strong><br />

report has been sent to the I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis to determine the cause of death.<br />

Smith said the report should be available within a week.<br />

Sheriff Homer CARR, who investigatted with Smith, said there was no evidence of foul<br />

play.<br />

She was born March 26, 1920, in <strong>Rochester</strong>, the daughter of William and Hulda<br />

ANDERSON WAGONER. She had resided the majority of her life here. She was a former<br />

employee of the <strong>Rochester</strong> Taxi Cab companty and a former motorroute driver for <strong>The</strong> <strong>Rochester</strong><br />

<strong>Sentinel</strong>.<br />

Surviving are one brother, Frank S. WAGONER, Ludington, Mich.; four nieces and one<br />

nephew. Four brothers preceded in death.<br />

Alma Faye Easterday<br />

Mrs. Alma Faye EASTERDAY, 67, R.R. 6, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday in<br />

Woodlawn hospital. She had been ill one year and serious since August.<br />

Born Oct. 21, 1903, in Marshtown, she was the daughter of Nathan and Ada WALTERS<br />

JULIAN. Her marriage was April 30, 1921, in <strong>Fulton</strong>, to Paul EASTERDAY, who survives. She<br />

had spent her lifetime in the <strong>Fulton</strong> area and was a member of the <strong>Fulton</strong> United Methodist<br />

church, Bide-A-Wee club and the Order of Eastern Star.<br />

Also surviving are three sons, Walter L. and Howard D. [EASTERDAY], both of<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>, and Roy J. [EASTERDAY], <strong>Fulton</strong>; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Elsie) GRAHAM,<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong>; fourteen grandchildren; two great-gandchildren; one brother, Paul JULIAN, Angola; one<br />

sister, Mrs. Charles (Mable) KETTLE, Auburn. One grandchild preceded in death.<br />

Final rites will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Ditmire-Zimmerman funeral home in<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong>. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Thomas BOWMAN will officiate. Burial will be in the <strong>Fulton</strong> cemetery.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Eastern Star will conduct<br />

memorial services at 7:30 p.m. Memorials other than flowers may be made to he Cancer Fund.
