Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Burr Oak Church of God for Dale<br />

DAVIS, 64, R.R. 1, Culver, who died Thursday at 8 a.m. in Woodlawn hospital. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />

Elsworth ROUTSON will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Leiters Ford.<br />

Friends may call at the Easterday-Bonine funeral home in Culver after 2 p.m. Saturday until noon<br />

on Sunday and at the church prior to services.<br />

A lifetime resident of the Culver community, Mr. Davis was born Nov. 23, 1905, in<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong> county. He was the son of Levi and Nancy COWEN DAVIS. His marriage was March 18,<br />

1831, at South Bend, to Fern HATTEN, who survives.<br />

Mr. Davis was an employee of <strong>The</strong> <strong>Sentinel</strong> the past two years and a former employee of<br />

the Culver Citizen Publishing company 36 years. He was a member of the Burr Oak Church of<br />

God.<br />

Surviving with the wife are two sons, Edward D. DAVIS, South Bend, and Larry E.<br />

DAVIS, Culver; two brothers, Norman C. DAVIS, Aros, and Emery A. DAVIS, Culver, and three<br />

grandchildren.<br />

Harry L. Wilson<br />

Word has been received here that Harry L. WILSON, 84, Portland, Ore., formerly of<br />

Niles, Mich., and South Bend, died at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday in Portland.<br />

Born March 17, 1886 in South Dakota, he was the son of Henry and Maria HOUSE<br />

WILSON. He was marrid Jan. 8, 1918 in rochester to Ethel ARVEN, who died May 6, 1969. He<br />

was a retired employee of the South Bend office of Indiana-Michigan Electric company and was a<br />

member of the Sunnyside Seventh Day Adventist church in Portland.<br />

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Olive) CASLOW, Portland.<br />

Last rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Foster and Good funeral home. Burial will be<br />

in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.<br />

Leah Bahney<br />

Leah BAHNEY, 86, Akron, died about 7 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn hospital, where she<br />

was a patient three months. She had been ill for some time.<br />

Born Nov. 17, 1883 in Akron, she was the daughter of John and Susan KREAMER<br />

MARTIN. She had resided most of her life in the Akron area. She was married in 1906 to<br />

Charles BAHNEY, who died in 1949. She was a member of the Akron Church of God.<br />

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Floyd (Mary) BOSCHET, Rome City, Ind; three nieces, and<br />

one nephew.<br />

Last rites will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Haupert funeral home in Akron with the Rev.<br />

J. D. THOMASON officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call after 2<br />

p.m. Sunday.
