Jack W. Overmyer<br />
Final rites for Jack Willard OVERMYER, 36, R.R. 1, Argos, who died Thursday<br />
morning in Plymouth, will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Foster & Good funeral home.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. A. E. GIVENS will officiate and burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F.<br />
cemetery.<br />
Donald E. Smith<br />
Donald E. SMITH, 72, R.R. 1, Kewanna, died at 4:50 a.m. today in Memorial hospital in<br />
Logansport.<br />
Born Nov. 11, 1897, in <strong>Fulton</strong> county, he was the son of Edwin and Utica SHOWLEY<br />
SMITH. His marriage was Dec. 6, 1920, to Millie BAKER. She survives. A retired farmer, Mr.<br />
Smith was a member of the Kewanna Church of Christ.<br />
‘ Also surviving are two sons, Eldon [SMITH], of Kewanna, and Keith [SMITH], R.R. 6,<br />
Kokomo; one brother, Garland [SMITH], Dowagiac, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Lois DYKEMA and<br />
Mrs. Lucille BEACH, both of Kalamazoo, Mich., and five grandchildren. One daughter and one<br />
brother are deceased.<br />
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Harrison funeral home in Kewanna. Burial will<br />
be in the Kewanna cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. Saturday.<br />

Bernice Gebhart<br />
Last rites were held this morning at the Eikenberry funeral home in Peru for Mrs. Bernice<br />
CHAMBERLAIN GEBHART, 71, Peru, who died at Dukes Memorial hospital in that city<br />
Thursday. She was formerly a resident of <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />
Father Joseph RUFFING officiated at rites and burial was in the Mount Hope cemetery.<br />
Mrs. Gebhart, who resided at 457 West Sixth street in Peru, was the daughter of Jesse and<br />
Nellie WILLARD CHAMBERLAIN of Rocheter and was born June 22, 1899, in Frankfort. Her<br />
marriage was July 19, 1922, to Elgin GEBHART, who died Aug. 3, of this year.<br />
Surviving are two sons, Richard and Edward [GEBHART], both of Peru; a sister, Mrs.<br />
Sarah ZIMMERMAN, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and seven grandchildren. Two brothers, Claude and Lynn<br />
[CHAMBERLAIN], preceded in death.<br />
