Luella Shriver<br />
Mrs. Luella SHRIVER, 61, R.R. 1, <strong>Rochester</strong>, (the Mount Zion community), died today<br />
at 1:15 a.m. in Woodlawn hospital. She had been ill several months.<br />
Born May 28, 1908, in Clinton county, she was the daughter of Peter and Dorinda<br />
HUFFER SMITH. Her marriage was Aug. 30, 1935, in Carroll county, to Leonard V. SHRIVER,<br />
who survives. She was a member of the United Methodist church, Burlington.<br />
Surviving with the husband are one son, Glenn [SHRIVER], at home; one daughter, Mrs.<br />
Richard (Bonnie Lou) LAKE, Swayzee; one brother, Glenn J. SMITH, Flora, and three<br />
grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded in death.<br />
Final rites will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home,<br />
<strong>Rochester</strong>. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Laurence SMITH will officiate. Burial will be in the Moon cemetery, near<br />
[Kewanna]. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.<br />
Orion Henderson<br />
Final rites will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Carter funeral home, Flora, for Orion<br />
HENDERSON, 74, R.R. 1, <strong>Rochester</strong>, who died Sunday at 10 a.m. in the Mantee Memorial<br />
hospital, Bradenton, Fla.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. Dale HAMILTON will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn cemetery,<br />
Flora. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.<br />
Born Sept. 27, 1895, in Corinth, Ill., he was the son of John L. and Dell DURYEA<br />
HENDERSON. His marriage was to Agnes McKINNLEY, who survives. A retired barber, he<br />
was a veteran of WW I and a member of the Clarence Wilds, American Legion post, number 222,<br />
in Flora.<br />
Surviving with his wife, are one brother, Raymond HENDERSON, Little Rock, Ark., and<br />
one sister, Shirley KIFER, Danville, Ark.<br />
Herman D. Jones<br />
Herman D. JONES, 61, Ocala, Fla., a former <strong>Rochester</strong> resident, died at 1 a.m. today.<br />
Services are pending at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.<br />

Mrs. Garland Kline<br />
Mrs. Garland KLINE, LaPorte, a former <strong>Rochester</strong> resident, died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in<br />
Community hospital, LaPorte. Her husband was the former editor of <strong>The</strong> Akron News.<br />
Final rites are pending in the Cuttler Brothers Funeral home, LaPorte.
