Herendeen memorial coronary and intensive care unit.<br />
Ruth L. Dudgeon<br />
Mrs. Ruth L. DUDGEON, 49, R.R. 3, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died Saturday at 3:05 p.m. in South<br />
Bend Memorial hospital, where she had been admitted at 12:30 p.m. that day.<br />
Born March 30, 1921, at Flora, she was the daughter of Ross and Bessie McNULTY<br />
LARGEN. Mrs. Dudgeon had resided in the Richland Center community the past 20 years,<br />
moving here from Burket.<br />
Her marriage was March 10, 1951, at Burket, to Dewey G. DUDGEON, county service<br />
officer, who survives. She was a member of the Flora Methodist church and the 31 club.<br />
Surviving, besides the husband, are the mother, R.R. 3, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one son, John W.<br />
[DUDGEON], <strong>Rochester</strong>; two granddaughters, Lisa and Jacqueline DUDGEON; four sisters, Mrs.<br />
Wilbur (Vera) YEATER, Logansport; Mrs. Eldo (Ruby) CLAUSON, Nappanee; Mrs. Max (Fae)<br />
LOGSDON, Oxford, Ind; Mrs. Carl (Ethel) EHERENMAN, Mentone; one brother, Wayne<br />
LARGEN, <strong>Rochester</strong>. Preceding in death were one brother and the father.<br />
Funeral rites will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev.<br />
Laurence SMITH officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends<br />
may call at the funeral home.<br />
Elsie P. Allen<br />
Mrs. Elsie P. ALLEN, 86, R.R. 4, Warsaw, died at 4:55 p.m. Saturday in the Marshall<br />
county hospital at Plymouth. She had been ill three months.<br />
She was born Feb. 13, 1884, in Huntington county and had resided in Warsaw 25 years,<br />
moving from Ft. Wayne. Her marriage was in 1903 to Charles W. ALLEN. He died in 1965. She<br />
was a member of the Third Christian church of Fort Wayne.<br />
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Julius FALK and Mrs. Joseph PARSONS, both of Ft.<br />
Wayne, and Mrs. George SHOPELL, of Fremont; Mrs. George SALTER Jr., Pensacola, Fla.; one<br />
son, Dwight ALLEN, Argos; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.<br />
Final rites will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the D O. McComb funeral home in Fort<br />
Wayne. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Forrest WEDDLE will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at<br />
Roanoke. Friends may call at the Grossman funeral home in Argos until 9 p.m. today and at the<br />
McComb funeral home in Ft. Wayne from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service.
