Myrtle C. Stetson<br />
Mrs. Myrtle C. STETSON, 94, 1115 Pontiac street, died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at the<br />
home of her daughter, Mrs. Faye HOLMAN, 1331 Madison street. She had been ill three months.<br />
Born May 19, 1876, near Nyona lake, she was the daughter of Samuel and Sarah<br />
ENGLISH FRY. Her marriage was Dec. 28, 1887, in <strong>Fulton</strong>, to Frank M. STETSON. He<br />
preceded her in death May 5, 1937. She had resided in <strong>Rochester</strong> and vicinity her entire life with<br />
the exception of five years spent in Florida. She was a member of the First Christian church here<br />
70 years and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.<br />
Surviving with her daughter are one grandson, Joe Ray STETSON, Springfield, Ky.;<br />
three great-grandchildren, Joe [STETSON] Jr., Mary and David STETSON, all of Springfield,<br />
Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Lenora ARVEN and Mrs. Noble GOODNER, both of <strong>Fulton</strong>.<br />
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. <strong>The</strong><br />
Rev. Josef PALAT will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call<br />
at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.<br />
Lida M. DeLon<br />
Mrs. Lida M. DeLON, 84, R.R. 1, Culver (Mount Hope neighborhood), died at 5:55 p.m.<br />
Tuesday in Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth, after an illness of four years.<br />
Born Nov. 29, 1886 in Howard county to Jesse and Mary CAREY HOBSON, she had<br />
lived in the Mount Hope area 60 years. She was a member of the Friends church of New London,<br />
Ind. Her first marriage was to Ellsworth EDGINGTON, who died in 1933. She was married to<br />
Roy DeLON in 1935; he died in 1963.<br />
Surviving are a son, Harry D. EDGINGTON, Culver; five grandchildren, and a greatgrandchild.<br />
A daughter, Miss Louiemae EDGINGTON, died May 24, <strong>1970</strong>.<br />
Last rites will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Easterday-Bonine funeral home in Culver with<br />
the Rev. Earl SHARP officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Leiters Ford. Friends<br />
may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday.<br />

Lucile M. Miller<br />
Mrs. Lucile M. MILLER, 78, former resident of Lake Manitou, died Wednesday at<br />
Gobles, Mich.<br />
Born April 4, 1892 in Grovertown, Ind., she was the daughter of Fred and Matilda<br />
CLAYBURN SHULTZ. Her marriage was Dec. 18, 1935, at Indianapolis, to Charles E.<br />
MILLER. He preceded in death July 18, 1966. Mrs. Miller was a retired employee of the<br />
Indianapolis police department and moved here from Indianapolis in 1954. She moved from<br />
<strong>Rochester</strong> to Michigan three years ago.<br />
Surviving are one brother, Elsworth SHULTZ, of Richland, Mich., and nieces and<br />
nephews.<br />
Final rites will be at 1 p.m Saturday in the Foster & Good funeral home. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Allen<br />
JUMP will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral<br />
home.
