Arnold B. Creviston<br />
Arnold B. CREVISTON, 56, Lady Lake, Fla., died Friday at 10:45 a.m. in the veteran’s<br />
administration hospital, Gainsville, Fla.<br />
Born Aug. 29, 1913, in Markle, Ind., he was the son of Bert and Myrele HYSER<br />
CREVISTON. Moving from Elkhart where he had been employed by the Excel company of<br />
Elkhart, he had lived in Lady Lake for nine months.<br />
Surviving are three brothers, Auldo CREVISTON, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Leo CREVISTON,<br />
Warsaw, and William CREVISTON, Tippecanoe; and four sisters, Mrs. John (Ruth)<br />
BRASHEARS, Turlock, Cal., Mrs. Howard (Mary) OVERMYER, Argos, Mrs. Edward (Dorothy)<br />
PHILLIPS, Warsaw, and Mrs. May VANDERMARK, Lady Lake, Fla.<br />
Final rites will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the McHatton funeral home, Warsaw, with the<br />
Rev. John P. REID officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Wood cemetery, Warsaw, where full<br />
military graveside services will be conducted by the John Peterson American Legion post number<br />
49. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday and until the services Thursday.<br />
Clara E. Overmyer<br />
Mrs. Clara E. OVERMYER, 65, R.R. 3, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died this morning at the Indiana<br />
University Medical Center in Indianapolis, where she had been a patient about one week. Funeral<br />
arrangements are incomplete.<br />
Gordon J. Smith<br />
Gordon J. SMITH, 72, Monmouth, Ill., formerly of Kewanna, died Monday at 11 a.m. in<br />
Monmouth.<br />
A retired farmer, he was born July 8, 1897, in Indiana.<br />
Surviving with his wife, Edna [SMITH], are two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn DRYER and<br />
Mrs. Deloris PRYER, both of California; two sons, Russell SMITH, California, and Eugene<br />
SMITH, Lapaz, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil RHOADES, R.R. 1, Kewanna, and Mrs. Ethel<br />
BAKER, Okeechobee, Fla.; one brother, Rolland SMITH, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and five grandchildren.<br />
Final rites will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Harrison funeral home, Kewanna,with the<br />
Rev. Ronald PRILLIMAN officiating. Burial will be in the Kewanna I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends<br />
may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.<br />

Mrs. Mary PALMER THOMPSON, Lowell, died Tuesday at 3 p.m. in her home. She<br />
was the mother of Mrs. Robert F. BERNS, 1412 Main street.<br />
Final rites will be Friday at 3 p.m. in the Sheets Funeral home, Lowell.
