Elmer BURDGE, 95, Akron, died at 12:30 p.m. today at Wabash county hospital.<br />

Arrangements are pending at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron.<br />

Final rites will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sheetz funeral home, Akron, for Elmer<br />

BURDGE, 95, Akron, who died Friday at 1:05 p.m. in Wabash county hospital.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Revs. Dan BENGSTON and Claude FAWNS will officiate. Burial will be in the<br />

Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday and until services<br />

Monday.<br />

Born Oct. 25, 1874, in <strong>Fulton</strong> county, he was the son of Anthony and Liza WARE<br />

BURDGE. His marriage was March 13, 1902, in Otterbein, Ind., to Sarah DILTS, who died in<br />

1961. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Akron United Methodist church, the Akron<br />

Masonic lodge and the Indiana Farm Bureau.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Martha) FLACK, Roann; one sister, Mrs. Earl<br />

WILSON, <strong>Rochester</strong>; five grandchildren, Ross BURDGE, Akron; Mrs. Richard DOUB,<br />

Tennessee; Mrs. Eldon BAKER, Monterey, Cal; Jim FLACK, Wabash, and Steve FLACK,<br />

Converse, and ten great-grandchildren. Two sons, Harry and George BURDGE, and two brothers<br />

preceded in death.<br />

Ruth A. Blount<br />

Mrs. Ruth A. BLOUNT, 57, Lapaz, died Sunday at 6:02 a.m. in Osteopath hospital South<br />

Bend. She had been ill six months.<br />

Born May 2, 1912, she was the daughter of John W. and Florence WAREHAM RINGLE.<br />

Her marriage was Sept. 15, 1928, to Harold BLOUNT, who survives She was a member of the<br />

Church of God, the Royal Neighbors club and the Black Bridge club, all of Lapaz.<br />

Surviving with the husband are one son, James Harold BLOUNT, Lapaz; one daughter,<br />

Mrs. Lowell (Rosemary) BROWN, South Bend; one brother, Dalton RINGLE, <strong>Rochester</strong>; five<br />

grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.<br />

Final rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Netzen-Glant funeral home, Bremen. <strong>The</strong><br />

Rev. William W. CALE will officiate. Burial will be in the Bremen cemetery. Friends may call at<br />

the funeral home after 2 p.m. today and until the hour of services Tuesday.<br />

Orian Henderson<br />

Orian HENDERSON, 75, R.R. 1, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 10 a.m. Sunday in the Mantee<br />

Memorial hospital at Bradenton, Fla. He had been ill one week.<br />

Born Sept. 27, 1895, in Corinth, Ill, he was the son of John and Dell DURYLER<br />

HENDERSON. Surviving with his wife, Agnes [HENDERSON], are nices and nephews.<br />

Final rites are pending at the Carter funeral home in Flora.<br />

Otto Sustroom<br />

Otto SUSTROOM, 86, Chicago, father of Mrs. Emmett TRANBARGER, former<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong> resident, died Sunday in boynton Beach, Fla. Surviving with the daughter is a son and<br />

one granddaughter. Final rites will be Wednesday in the Matz funeral home in Chicago.<br />
