Margaret L. Fairtrace
Mrs. Margaret L. FAIRTRACE, 68, Lagrange Park, Ill., died Friday at 10 a.m. from
injuries received in an auto accident just prior to her admission to the Lagrange Park community
hospital.
She was born Jan. 27, 1902 in Portsmouth, O. Her husband preceded in death. Mrs.
Fairtrace was a retired secretary from the electro-Motive corporation, Lagrange Park. She was the
sister of Mrs. Gertrude CORWIN, who died Oct. 5, 1947.
She is survived by a daughter, Joy FAIRTRACE, of Lagrange Park; two brothers, and
two sisters.
Last rites will be at 3 p.m. Monday from the Grossman funeral home, Argos, with the
Rev. James M. CAMPBELL officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove cemetery, Argos.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the Grossman funeral home and from 3 p.m.
Sunday in the Hallowell and James funeral home, Lagrange Park.

Mrs. Henry A. Trausch
Mrs. Henry A. TRAUSCH, mother of Henry L. TRAUSCH of Rochester, died Saturday
afternoon in St. Francis hospital at Evanston, Ill. She once lived in Rochester. Funeral services
will be at 10 a.m. EST Tuesday at the Haben funeral home in Skokie, Ill.
Kathryn Coakley
Mrs. Kathryn COAKLEY, 95, 410 Main street, died at 8 a.m. Sunday in Woodlawn
hospital where she had been a patient since Aug. 29. She had been ill 4 1/2 years.
Born Dec. 14, 1874, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Charles and Anna
LANGSDORF, one of the pioneer families of Rochester. She had lived her entire life in the
Rochester area. Her marriage was Nov. 25, 1902, in Rochester, to Timothy E. COAKLEY. He
died in 1932.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Donnabelle) HAGGERTY, Elkhart; a niece, Mrs.
Bertha ROBBINS, of Mishawaka.
Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.
The Rev. Laurence SMITH will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends
may call at the funeral home.
Arwesta Brackett
Graveside services will be at the I.O.O.F. cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Lyman
E. (Arwesta) BRACKETT. She died in Portland, Texas, after a lengthy illness. The Rev. Donald
W. LAMBERT will conduct the rites.
Richard BRACKETT, a son, his wife Betty [BRACKETT] and daughter Betty Louise
[BRACKETT], came from their home in Portland to attend the services. Their son, Richard, is
attending Texas A. & M. university.
Mrs. Brackett was a former resident of Rochester. Her husband preceded in death.
