Warren Snell<br />
Final rites were conducted at 10:30 a.m. today in the Sheetz funeral home, Akron, for<br />
Warren G. SNELL, 48, California, a former <strong>Rochester</strong> resident, who died Tuesday in Robert Long<br />
hospital, Indianapolis.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. Claude FAWNS officiated. Burial was in the Mount Hope cemetery, [Athens].<br />
Born Aug. 16, 1912, he was the son of William and Lee ROWE. He was a veteran of<br />
World War II.<br />
Surviving are one daughter, Helen [SNELL], California; one son, Richard SNELL, Fort<br />
Hood, Texas, and nieces, nephews, and cousins from <strong>Rochester</strong> and Akron.<br />

Edward C. Rohrs<br />
Funeral services were conducted Friday for Edward C. ROHRS, 53, Geneva, Ill., who<br />
died Wednesday. He was the husband of the former Marcia [DAVIS], daughter of Mrs. Ira GOSS<br />
of <strong>Rochester</strong>. Mr. Rohrs was a copy editor for Sieber and McIntyre Inc., an advertising firm at<br />
Geneva. Three sons, three daughters, the mother, three brothers and a sister survive.<br />

Mrs. Lloyd Gohn<br />
Mrs. Lloyd GOHN, sister-in-law of Mrs. Jeanette GOHN, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died Friday in<br />
Illinois. She had been a school teacher in Illinois and the Philippine Islands. Burial was in<br />
Homer, Ill.<br />
Elsie Austin<br />
Mrs. Elsie AUSTIN, 77, Tippecanoe, died Saturday, at 4:30 p.m., in the home of her<br />
daughter, Mrs. Herman DROCHNER, Tippecanoe. She had been ill 10 years.<br />
Born Jan. 20, 1893, in Lithuania, she was the daugher of Martin and Urte VANAGAITE<br />
SCHNEIDEREIT. Her first marriae was in 1911, to August ODAU, who died in 1914. She later<br />
married John AUSTIN, who also preceded in death. Coming to the United States in 1952, she<br />
lived in Chicago and Winamac before moving to Tippecanoe. She had been a member of the Zion<br />
Lutheran church, Chicago.<br />
Surviving are three daughers, Mrs. Herman (Martha) DROCHNER, Tippecanoe, Miss<br />
Emma AUSTIN, chicago, and Mrs. Anna LENGWIN, Austria; one son, John ODAU, Germany;<br />
fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.<br />
Final rites will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., in the Grossman funeral home, Argos. <strong>The</strong><br />
Rev. Donald GARVUE will officiate. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery. Friends<br />
may call at the funeral home afer 7 p.m. today.
