Indianapolis, Mrs. Iva BUNDY, North Manchester, and Mrs. Grace Van NESS, Bluffton; ten<br />

grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. One sister and two<br />

brothers preceded in death.<br />

Final rites will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Ellers chapel, Kokomo, with the Rev. Dillon<br />

LAFFIN officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park cemetery, Kokomo. Friends may call at<br />

the chapel from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. Thursday.<br />

Willis E. McCullough<br />

Willis Eugene McCULLOUGH, 60, R.R. 1, North Manchester, died suddenly today at<br />

8:22 a.m. in Wabash county hospital. Born Sept. 10, 1909, he was the son of Harry and Ethel<br />

ENGLISH McCULLOUGH. His marriage was to Geraldine McMILLEN, who survives.<br />

Surviving with the wife are his mother, Ethel English McCullough; eight children; two<br />

brothers; two sisters, and nine grandchildren.<br />

Final rites are pending at the DeLaughter funeral home, North Manchester.<br />

Harold Remy<br />

Harold REMY, 72, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died today at 6:35 a.m. in Woodlawn hospital. He had<br />

been in failing health one year.<br />

Born Nov. 27, 1897, in Ottawa, Ill., he was the son of Peter and Esther COOPER REMY.<br />

His marriage was July 9, 1921, in Goshen, to Maxine RUPLE, who died Oct. 16, 1968. Moving<br />

from Warsaw, he had lived here 34 years. A former manager of the Kroger store here and an auto<br />

salesman for Hammel Chrysler-Plymouth, he was a member of the First Christian church, the<br />

I.O.O.F. lodge, Kiwanis club and the Chamber of Commerce, all of <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Wanda) ZIMMER, Coldwater, Mich.; one son,<br />

Duane “Spud” REMY, Maumee, O.; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Esther LLOYD, Oswego,<br />

Ill.; one brother, Ralph REMY, Warsaw, and nieces and nephews.<br />

Final rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev.<br />

Josef PALAT officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at<br />

the funeral home after 2 p.m Saturday.<br />

Lorene O. Hunter<br />

Lorene O. HUNTER, 57, Ft. Wayne, died Thursday at 3:50 p.m. in the Lutheran hospital,<br />

Fort Wayne. She had been ill three years.<br />

Born Aug. 17, 1912, in Richland township, she was the daughter of Fred O. and Cora E.<br />

THOMPSON BATZ. Her marriage was Nov. 19, 1937, in South Bend, to Raymond Eldon<br />

HUNTER, who survives.<br />

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James (Carol) HALL, Buchanan, Mich.; two<br />

grandchidlren; and three brothers, Floyd BATZ, <strong>Rochester</strong>, Robert BATZ, South Bend, and<br />

Charles BATZ, Edwardsburg, Mich. One sister preceded in death.<br />

Final rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />

Ron HIEBNER will officiate. Burial will be in the Sycamore cemetery, in Newcastle township.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday.
