Kate Herrell<br />
Mrs. Kate HERRELL, 74, Kokomo, died Tuesday at 1:05 a.m. in St. Joseph hospital.<br />
Born Feb. 24, 1896, in Howard county, she was the daughter of Harry and Cynthia<br />
(PAUFF) FRAKES. Her marriage was Nov. 23, 1912, to Lloyd HERRELL, who died in 1960.<br />
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Esther BOWERS of Kokomo and Mrs. William<br />
TRIPOLDI, New York City; three sons, Raymond HERRELL and Lloyd HERRELL, Jr, both of<br />
<strong>Rochester</strong> and Kenneth HERRELL, Riverside, Cal., and one brother, Floyd FRAKES of<br />
Toledo, O.<br />
Final rites will be Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Peacock funeral home in Kokomo. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />
Kenneth WASHBURN will officiate. Burial will be in the Chattick cemetery, Bennetts Switch,<br />
Ind. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. today.<br />
Devon F. Haimbaugh<br />
Final rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for<br />
Devon F. HAIMBAUGH, 68, R.R. 4, <strong>Rochester</strong>, who died Tuesday at 6 a.m. in Woodlawn<br />
hospital.<br />
the Rev. V. A. LALLEMENT will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here.<br />
Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />
Born Jan. 14, 1902, in Newcastle township, he was the son of John and Emma Jane<br />
(NEFF) HAIMBAUGH. A retired farmer, he had spent his entire life in this area and was a<br />
member of the Trinity United Methodist church here.<br />
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Edith) SMILEY of Milford, Ill., and Mrs. Elmer<br />
(Ethel) PARKER, Fort Wayne; two brothers, Omer L. HAIMBAUGH of Woodstock, Ill., and<br />
Roland N. HAIMBAUGH, Munster; nieces and nephews.<br />

Dewey T. King<br />
Dewey Thomas KING, 72, R.R. 1, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 9:25 a.m. today in Woodlawn<br />
hospital. He had been a patient since Saturday.<br />
Born July 28, 1898, in Mishawaka, he was the son of Charles and Ella KING. His<br />
marriage was May 17, 1924, in Mentone, to Sarah A. LONG, who survives. A World War I<br />
veteran, he had resided in the <strong>Rochester</strong> area 16 years, moving from Bourbon and Tippecanoe<br />
communities. He was a former employee of the <strong>Rochester</strong> Sentinal printing department. He<br />
attended the Talma Bible church at Talma and was a member of the World War I Barracks.<br />
Also surviving are one daugher, Mrs. Frances Isabelle Van Der WEELE, Rockville, Md.;<br />
two sons, Charles A. and Thomas KING, both of Bourbon, seven grandchildren. One daughter<br />
and two brothers preceded in death.<br />
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Foster & Good funeral home. <strong>The</strong> Revs.<br />
Delbert RUBERG and Francis ROGERS will officiate. Burial will be in the Summit chapel<br />
cemetery near Bourbon. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday where military<br />
rites will be conducted by the American Legion post at Argos.
