Melissa L. GOHN, 17 months of age, Peru, died Tuesday at 9 a.m. in her home following
an illness of five days.
Born Dec. 21, 1968, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Mrs. Yvonnie BOLEN
GOHN, Peru, and Thomas L. GOHN, R.R. 5, Rochester.
Surviving with her parents are the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rant BOLEN,
R.R. 5, Rochester; the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Floyd BRADLEY, R.R. 5, Rochester, and the
paternal grandfather, Russell GOHN, Michigan City
Final rites will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home. The Rev.
Armond RITTER will officiate. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call
at the funeral home.

Lesia Marie Stratton
Lesia Marie STRATTON, 15 months old, died at 1 a.m. today at the Cook County
hospital in Chicago, where she was a patient 10 days. The child had been ill the past five weeks.
She was the daughter of Lewis and Bonnie HOLLENBACK STRATTON, R.R. 1,
Akron, and was born Feb. 27, 1969, at Rochester. There are no other immediate survivors.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron with the Rev.
Charles FRENCH officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek cemetery. Friends may call at the
funeral home.

Nellie E. Mathias
Mrs. Nellie E. MATHIAS, 83, the Green Oak community, died Thursday at 5:35 p.m. in
Miller Merry Manor nursing home, Plymouth. She had been ill five years.
Born May 25, 1887, in Green Oak, she was the daughter of Charles and Emma HICKS
HORTON. Her marriage was Nov. 2, 1912, in Rochester, to Edd MATHIAS, who survives. A
lifetime rsident of Fulton County, she was a member of the Macy United Methodist church and the
Pleasant Hour club.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Phyllis) ENYART, R.R. 6, Rochester; one
granddaughter, Miss Nelda ENYART, R.R. 6, Rochester; one grandson, David ENYART, R.R. 6,
Rochester; one great-grandson, Michael ENYART, R.R. 6, Rochester; one sister, Mrs. Phil
MILLER, R.R. 2, Rochester, and one brother, Glen HORTON, Sidell, Ill. One brother, Ray
[HORTON], preceded her in death.
Final rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Macy United Methodist church with the Revs.
James O’DELL and Robert ELLISON officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F.
cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday and until 11
a.m. Sunday and then at the church one hour before the services.

Word has been received here of the death April 25 in Glendale, Cal., of Howey M.
BALL, formerly of Rochester.
