Otho F. Warner<br />
Otho F. WARNER, 79, Culver, died Wednesday morning at 5:15 in Woodlawn hospital.<br />
He had been ill three weeks.<br />
Born Dec. 6, 1890, in Argos, he was the son of William and Phoebe BENEDICT<br />
WARNER. His marriage was March 30, 1916, in Plymouth, to Edna WARNER, who survives.<br />
He had lived in Culver 54 years, moving from Argos. He had been employed at Culver Military<br />
Academy until his retirement in 1959. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist church<br />
at Culver.<br />
Surviving with the wife are one daughter, Mrs. Rachel M. MANUWAL, Plymouth; one<br />
brother, Herbert WARNER, <strong>Rochester</strong>; three sisters, Mrs. Elva SCHEUERMAN, Portland, Ore.,<br />
Mrs. Jennie BARTON, Elkhart, and Mrs. Marie LONG, Culver; one granddaughter and two greatgranddaughters.<br />
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Wesley United Methodist church at Culver. <strong>The</strong><br />
Rev. Earl SHARP will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery at Plymouth. Friends<br />
may call at the Easterday-Bonine funeral home in Culver until noon on Friday and at the church<br />
one hour prior to services.<br />

Hazel Ream<br />
Mrs. Hazel REAM, 84, 124 West Ninth street, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in Woodlawn<br />
hospital.<br />
Born Jan. 9, 1886, in Warsaw, she was the daughter of John and Julia RUTAN. Her<br />
marriage was to George E. “Buck” REAM.<br />
Surviving are one step-daughter, Katherine YOUNG, of Medway, O., and two step-sons,<br />
Arthur REAM, Massillon, O., and George REAM, Jr., Tracy, Cal.<br />
Final rites are pending at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.<br />
Elizabeth Shivers<br />
Mrs. Elizabeth (DIFFENDAL] WOOLDRIDGE SHIVERS, 89, Poplar Grove and Santa<br />
Anna communities, died Thursday at the Fairview nursing home, Plymouth, at 9:30 a.m. following<br />
an extended illness.<br />
Born July 24, 1880, in Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Martin and Arvilla RICE<br />
DIFFENDAL. Her first marriage was in 1921 to Edward WOOLDRIDGE, who died in 1921.<br />
Her second marriage was in 1946 to Walter SHIVERS, who died in 1947. She was a member of<br />
the Santa Anna Methodist church and the WSCS of the church.<br />
Surviving are one son, Robert WOOLDRIDGE, with the U.S. Air Force in Turkey; six<br />
step-daughters, Mrs. Edna DICKSON, <strong>Rochester</strong>; Mrs. Jeannette ROCKSTROH, Elkhart; Mrs.<br />
Earl (Artie) ZEHNER, Argos; Mrs. Whitney (Mae) KLINE, Culver; Mrs. Norman (Lucille)<br />
DAVIS, Argos, and Mrs. Oliver (Arvilla) TEEL, Mentone; three step-sons, Clifford<br />
WOOLDRIDGE, Culver, Donald WOOLDRIDGE, Lapaz, and Meryl SHIVERS, Argos; four<br />
grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.<br />
Final rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Grossman funeral home, Argos. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />
Arthur BISHOP will officiate. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove cemetery. Friends may call at<br />
the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
