Ralph R. Barts<br />
Ralph R. BARTS, 60, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died Sunday at 8:50 a.m. in Woodlawn hospital.<br />
Born Aug. 21, 1909, in Plymouth, he was the son of Joseph and Ella MANUWAL<br />
BARTS. His marriage was Feb. 1, 1930, in <strong>Rochester</strong>, to Mildred HOLLER, who survives. A<br />
former co-owner of the <strong>Rochester</strong> Fertilizer and Feed Company, he was also a retired employee of<br />
the Bendix Corporation, South Bend. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist church,<br />
<strong>Rochester</strong>, and the I.O.O.F. lodge, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />
Surviving with the wife are one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Sarah) BETTEN, Akron; one son,<br />
Richard BARTS, Huntington; four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. One sister<br />
and three brothers preceded in death.<br />
Final rites will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />
Vernon LALLEMENT will officiate. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends<br />
may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. <strong>The</strong> I.O.O.F. lodge will conduct memorial<br />
services in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday. <strong>The</strong> family has requested that memorials other<br />
than flowers be made to the Heart Fund.<br />
Dessie Wolfe<br />
Mrs. Dessie WOLFE, 75, Kewanna, died Sunday at 3:45 p.m. in Parkview hospital,<br />
Plymouth.<br />
Born Nov. 9, 1894, in Huntington, she was the daughter of Schuyler and Flora<br />
OVERMYER. Her marriage was Sept. 29, 1914, to John H. WOLFE, who survives. She was a<br />
member of the Nazarene church and the Macabees lodge, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />
Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Juanita GRANHOLM, Kewanna,<br />
and Mrs. Chola McLEAN, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one son, John J. WOLFE, R.R. 5, Logansport; three<br />
brothers, Hobert OVERMYER, South Bend, Charlie OVERMYER, R.R. 1, Kewanna, and Paul<br />
OVERMYER, Auburn; twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.<br />
Final rites will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Harrison chapel, Kewanna. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />
Darwin LAVENGOOD will officiate. Burial will be in the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. cemetery.<br />
Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday.<br />
Lucetta Mickey<br />
Mrs. Lucetta MICKEY, 91, McKinney, Texas, formerly of the Talma-Mentone area and<br />
Plymouth, died Monday at 8:30 p.m. in McKinny, Texas. She had been ill several years.<br />
Born Aug. 19, 1878, near Mentone, she was the daughter of Rufus and Adeline<br />
ALSPAUGH. She was a member of the Christian church, Plymouth.<br />
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Mirman) CUMBERLAND, Akron, Mrs.<br />
Betty VANDERGRIFF, McKiney, Texas, and Mrs. Lester (<strong>The</strong>lma) SNIDER, New Port Richy,<br />
Fla.; eleven grandchildren, and thirty-two great-grandchildren. One daughter preceded in death.<br />
Final rites will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Haupert funeral home, Akron.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. Claude FAWNS will officiate. Burial will be in the Hamlet cemetery, near Talma.<br />
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
