Russell Moore<br />
Russell “Dinty” MOORE, 70, Phoenix, Ariz., owner of the former <strong>Rochester</strong> Ice and<br />
Coal company and former city countilman, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Phoenix of a heart attack.<br />
He had been ill several years.<br />
Mr. Moore had been an employee of the former Northern Indiana Power company,<br />
predecessor of <strong>Public</strong> Service Indiana, in <strong>Rochester</strong>. He moved to Phoenix about five yers ago.<br />
Born to Ora and Belle MOORE in the Athens area Oct. 12, 1900, Mr. Moore was married<br />
to Pauline BRIGHT, who survives. He was a member of the <strong>Rochester</strong> Church of God.<br />
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William (Gwen) WARREN, Plymouth; Mrs.<br />
Lyle (Annabelle) MATHEWS, Fullerton, Cal., and Mrs. Myer (Betty) KIZER, Miami, Fla.; a<br />
sister, Mrs. Leonard (Margery) WOODCOX, <strong>Rochester</strong>; six grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren,<br />
and nieces and nephews. A sister and two brothers preceded in deth.<br />
Last rites will be Tuesday at the Mercer mortuary in Phoenix with the Rev. John<br />
DENTON officiating. Burial will be in Phoenix.<br />
Adress Nellans<br />
Mrs. [Adress] “Ada” NELLANS, 90, of <strong>Fulton</strong>, died at 4 a.m. today at Canterbury Manor<br />
following an illness of 10 years.<br />
A lifetime resident of <strong>Fulton</strong> county, she was born Sept. 13, 1880 in Liberty township to<br />
George and Angeline COOK MARTINDALE. She was married in <strong>Fulton</strong> Nov. 18, 1936 to<br />
William H. NELLANS, who died June 17, 1956.<br />
Nieces and nephews are the only survivors. Several brothers and sisters preceded in<br />
death.<br />
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Ditmire-Zimmerman funeral home at <strong>Fulton</strong><br />
with the Rev. Thomas BOWMAN officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. cemetery.<br />
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday.<br />

Harold J. Masterson<br />
Final rites were conducted Thursday in Detroit for Harold J. MASTERSON, former<br />
<strong>Rochester</strong> resident, who died Nov. 8 at the Allen Dee convalescent home in Detroit. He was the<br />
son of James and Elmora JOHNSON MASTERSON and operated a sheet metal shop here at 428<br />
Main street from 1908 to 1950. Surviving are a daughter, three sons, five grandchildren and a<br />
sister, Mrs. Marjory PONTIOUS, Akron.
