SP4 Stanley T. King<br />
Tippecanoe, Ind. - Army SP4 Stanley T. KING, 22, R.R. 1, Tippecanoe, has been killed<br />
in a helicopter crash during a mission in South Korea.<br />
<strong>The</strong> United States Eghth Army said King, a member of the seventh Aviation battalion,<br />
was killed and three other crew members were injured when the helicopter crashed during a<br />
training exercise near Tongdechonni, 30 miles north of Seoul.<br />
Surviving, are his wife, Mrs. Phyllis KING, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Deloice KING,<br />
Bourbon.<br />
Thomas Ketcham<br />
A five-months-old infant was killed and his young parents were critically injured Sunday<br />
in a one-car crash on a snow-covered Marshall <strong>County</strong> road.<br />
<strong>The</strong> infant was Thomas KETCHAM, son of Mr. and Mrs. John KETCHAM, R.R. 1,<br />
Bourbon.<br />
Ellen M. Donahue<br />
Ellen MALARKY DONAHUE, 84, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died Monday at 9:45 p.m. in Woodlawn<br />
hospital where she had been ill one week. She had been in failing health four years.<br />
Born Dec. 3, 1885, in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of James and Ellen<br />
MALARKY SWEENEY. Her marriage was Aug.1 1, 1915, to George Thomas DONAHUE. He<br />
died Jan. 13, <strong>1970</strong>. She had lived in <strong>Rochester</strong> five years, moving from Chicago. She was a<br />
member of the St. Joseph Catholic church.<br />
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary BONIN, <strong>Rochester</strong>; two granddaughters, Rosalie<br />
and Mary Ellen [BONIN], both of <strong>Rochester</strong>, and two grandsons, Tom [BONIN], <strong>Rochester</strong>, and<br />
Paul [BONIN], Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. John (Ann) HOULIHAN, St. Louis, Mo. One sister<br />
and one brother preceded in death.<br />
Final rites will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph church, <strong>Rochester</strong>. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />
Harold WELLER will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery, Rochestr. Friends may<br />
call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster & Good funeral home where the Rosary will be recited<br />
at 8 p.m.<br />
Ernest F. Bockover<br />
Ernest F. BOCKOVER, 72, Akron, died today at 8:15 a.m. in his home, following an<br />
illness of one year.<br />
Born March 15, 1897, in Athens, he was the son of Ephraim and Esther BURNS<br />
BOCKOVER. His marriage was July 23, 1922, in Gilead, to Esther SWOPE, who died in 1953.<br />
A trucker and a farmer he had lived all his life in the Akron area. He was a member of the Macy<br />
Christian church.<br />
Surviving are two sons, Ephraim and John [BOCKOVER], both at home, and one<br />
brother, Arthur BOCKOVER, New York. Preceding him in death are four brothers.<br />
Final rites will be Thurday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sheetz funeral home, Akron. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />
William SHEWMAN will officiate. Burial will be in the Plainview cemetery, Macy. Friends may<br />
call at the funeral home Wedesday after 2 p.m.
