Joseph J. Dillman<br />

Joseph J. DILLMAN, 80, R.R. 5, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 5:30 a.m. Today in Woodlawn<br />

hospital. He had been a patient eight weeks and in failing health three months.<br />

Born June 30, 1890, in Claypool, he was the son of Jesse and Lucinda CARR DILLMEN.<br />

His marriage was Aug. 9, 1914, in <strong>Rochester</strong>, to Martha M. BECK. She died Sept. 5, 1965. He<br />

had lived the majority of his life in this area and was a retired employee of the Studebaker<br />

corporation.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Doris) DUFF, R.R. 1, <strong>Rochester</strong>; two sons,<br />

Jesse J. DILLMAN, R.R. 6, <strong>Rochester</strong>, and John J. DILLMAN, R.R. 5, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one grandson,<br />

Steven DUFF, R.R. 1, <strong>Rochester</strong>; two great-grandchildren. A daughter and two sisters preceded in<br />

death.<br />

Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Foster & Good funeral home. <strong>The</strong><br />

Rev. G. LeRoy MARSTELLER will officiate. Burial will be in the Reichter cemetery northeast of<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong>. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.<br />

Friday, October 30, <strong>1970</strong><br />

Bert Berryman<br />

Bert BERRYMAN, 84, 417 West Second street, died Thursday at 12:35 p.m. at<br />

Woodlawn hospital, following a long illness.<br />

Mr. Berryman, a former Kewanna area resident, was born March 25, 1886, to Dillard and<br />

Sarah BARNETT BERRYMAN, in Winchester, Ky. He was married to Eva POPJOY, in 1934<br />

who survives. He was a veteran of W.W. I, and a member of the Baptist church in Kewanna.<br />

Surviving are three step-children, Mrs. Rachel ROTH, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Lois<br />

BECKER, South Bend and Phillip POPJOY, Kenosha, Wis.; eight grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren;<br />

one sister, Mrs. Ida ADAMS, Kewanna; two nephews, one nieces; one brother and<br />

one sister preceded in death.<br />

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Harrison-Gardner chapel in Kewannna with<br />

the Reverend Otis STONE officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Kewanna.<br />

Nina Foor<br />

Mrs. Nina FOOR, 70, R.R. 2, Macy, died at 5 p.m. Sunday at her residence.<br />

Final rites are tentatively set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron.
