Joseph J. Dillman
Joseph J. DILLMAN, 80, R.R. 5, Rochester, died at 5:30 a.m. Today in Woodlawn
hospital. He had been a patient eight weeks and in failing health three months.
Born June 30, 1890, in Claypool, he was the son of Jesse and Lucinda CARR DILLMEN.
His marriage was Aug. 9, 1914, in Rochester, to Martha M. BECK. She died Sept. 5, 1965. He
had lived the majority of his life in this area and was a retired employee of the Studebaker
corporation.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Doris) DUFF, R.R. 1, Rochester; two sons,
Jesse J. DILLMAN, R.R. 6, Rochester, and John J. DILLMAN, R.R. 5, Rochester; one grandson,
Steven DUFF, R.R. 1, Rochester; two great-grandchildren. A daughter and two sisters preceded in
death.
Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Foster & Good funeral home. The
Rev. G. LeRoy MARSTELLER will officiate. Burial will be in the Reichter cemetery northeast of
Rochester. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.

Bert Berryman
Bert BERRYMAN, 84, 417 West Second street, died Thursday at 12:35 p.m. at
Woodlawn hospital, following a long illness.
Mr. Berryman, a former Kewanna area resident, was born March 25, 1886, to Dillard and
Sarah BARNETT BERRYMAN, in Winchester, Ky. He was married to Eva POPJOY, in 1934
who survives. He was a veteran of W.W. I, and a member of the Baptist church in Kewanna.
Surviving are three step-children, Mrs. Rachel ROTH, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Lois
BECKER, South Bend and Phillip POPJOY, Kenosha, Wis.; eight grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren;
one sister, Mrs. Ida ADAMS, Kewanna; two nephews, one nieces; one brother and
one sister preceded in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Harrison-Gardner chapel in Kewannna with
the Reverend Otis STONE officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Kewanna.

Nina Foor
Mrs. Nina FOOR, 70, R.R. 2, Macy, died at 5 p.m. Sunday at her residence.
Final rites are tentatively set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron.
