Miss Pearl CLOUSE, 89, former Culver resident, died at 1:30 a.m. today at the Plymouth<br />

nursing home. She was born and reared in Winamac. Funeral arrangements are pending at the<br />

Grossman funeral home in Argos.<br />

Pearl C. Clouse<br />

Miss Pearl C. CLOUSE, 89, Culver, died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Plymouth nursing<br />

home at Plymouth following an extended illness.<br />

Born Sept. 7, 1881, in Winamac, she was the daughter of George and Mary GOOD<br />

CLOUSE. She had resided in Culver 30 years, moving from California.<br />

Surviving are nieces and nephews among whom are Chester McCOIGE, Culver; Lewis<br />

McCOIGE, Osceola, and John McCOIGE, R.R. 4, Plymouth.<br />

Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Grossman funeral home in Argos.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. W. Ray KUHN will officite. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Star City.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />

William Hayes<br />

William HAYES, 75, Wildwood, Fla., former <strong>Rochester</strong> resident, died at 5 a.m. today at<br />

his residence in Florida. He had been ill six months.<br />

He was born in Bee Springs, Ky., Oct. 14, 1894. His marriage was July 5, 1930, in<br />

Plymouth, to Neoma WOODCOX. She died July 2, 1964. Mr. Hayes had resided in Florida the<br />

past three years. He had owned and operated an automobile service shop in <strong>Rochester</strong> until his<br />

retirement in 1950. He was a World War I veteran.<br />

Surviving are one son, William HAYES Jr., <strong>Rochester</strong>; a brother, James HAYES,<br />

Indianapolis, and four grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister preceded in death.<br />

Final rites are pending at the Page-<strong>The</strong>us funeral home in Wildwood, Fla.<br />

Edna Sutton<br />

Mrs. Edna YATES SUTTON, 78, Dyerburg, Tenn., a former <strong>Fulton</strong> resident, died<br />

Wednesday in Dyerburg.<br />

Mrs. Sutton’s husband, David [SUTTON], preceded in death.<br />

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sue WHITE of Dyersburg; three sons, William<br />

[SUTTON], of Hammond; Russell [SUTTON], of Lafayette, and Tom [SUTTON], of Denver,<br />

Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Nezzie STEWART, Montgomery, Ala., and Mrs. Eunice LOCKHART,<br />

Dyerburg; ten grandchildren, and two grat-grandchildren.<br />

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sutton cemetery, six miles<br />

west of Kewanna, with the Rev. George HAPNER officiating. Arrangements are in charge of the<br />

Ditmire-Zimmerman funeral home at <strong>Fulton</strong>.
