Ross Siple<br />

Ross SIPLE, 79, former Argos resident, died Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. in Tucson, Ariz.,<br />

following a heart attack.<br />

Final rites are pending at the Grossman funeral home in Argos.<br />

Ethel M. Studebaker<br />

Final rites will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Grace United Methodist church for Ethel Mae<br />

STUDEBAKER, who died Wednesday at 11:50 a.m. in Woodlawn hospital where she had been a<br />

patient three weeks.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Laurence L. SMITH will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here.<br />

Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Friday and at the church one<br />

hour before services.<br />

Born Aug. 27, 1884, in Macy, she was the daughter of William H. and Rosa ABBOTT<br />

HICKS. Her marriage was Dec. 24, 1903, near <strong>Fulton</strong>, to Claude M. STUDEBAKER. He died<br />

Oct. 13, 1955. She had lived in the <strong>Rochester</strong> area all her life. She was a member of the Grace<br />

United Methodist church, WSCS of the Church, the Eastern Star at <strong>Fulton</strong>, the Birthday club,<br />

F.D.I. club, and Senior Citizens.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harrison (Rachael) CRABILL, R.R. 4, <strong>Rochester</strong>; one<br />

son, Byron Hicks STUDEBAKER, Thousand Oaks, Cal.; four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.<br />

One sister preceded in death.<br />

Octave J. Archambeault<br />

Octave J. ARCHAMBEAULT, 93, Argos, died Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the TLC nursing<br />

home. He had been ill three years.<br />

Born Aug. 17, 1876, in South Bend, he was the son of John and Margaret VERIER<br />

ARCHAMBEAULT. His marriage was Nov. 17, 1897, in South Bend, to Ida A. McWILLIAMS.<br />

She died July 12, 1947. He had lived in Argos 56 years, moving from Mishawaka. He was a<br />

retired farmer, and a member of the Argos Izaak Walton League.<br />

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Howard (Lillian) CHAPIN, Huntington; Mrs. Violet<br />

HERRIN, Argos; Mrs. Charles (Margaret) HIGEINBOTHAM, Niles, Mich., and Mrs. Marvin<br />

(Virginia) ROMINE, Etna Green; three sons, Clarence [ARCHAMBEAULT], Argos; Melvin<br />

[ARCHAMBEAULT], Burbank, Cal., and Jack [ARCHAMBEAULT], Bourbon; thirty-one<br />

grandchildren; seventy-six great-grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren; one<br />

sister, Ida May CULLEN, Largo, Fla. One son, Russell [ARCHAMBEAULT], died in infancy<br />

Final rites will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Grossman funeral home at Argos. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />

Russell GOOD will officiate. Burial will be in the New Oak Hill cemetery at Plymouth. Friends<br />

may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
