Mrs. Cornelia Elizabeth McCROSKY, 88, 1012 Jefferson street, died at 9:30 p.m.
Thursday in the Rochester nursing home. She had been ill four years.
Born April 18, 1881, in Wayne township, she was the daughter of Charles and Victoria
JOHNSON ROUCH. Her marriage was Sept. 15, 1915, in Rochester, to Cecil W. McCROSKY,
who survives. Mrs. McCrosky had resided in Rochester since 1948 and a resident of the Fulton
area most of her life.
Surviving with her husband are several cousins.
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. The Rev.
V. LeRoy GARNER and V. A. LALLEMENT will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem cemetery
in Liberty township. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight.
Minnie Eber
Mrs. Minnie EBER, 80, Akron, died Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Woodlawn hospital. She
had been in failing health one month.
Born July 8, 1889, in Middletown, O., she was the daughter of James and Cyrena
POFFENBARGER POTTENGER. Her first marriage was in 1906, to James SEBRING, who died
in 1948. Her second marriage was in 1955, to Ervin PARKER. He died in 1959. Her third
marriage was in 1961, to Alvin EBER, who died in 1963. She was a lifetime residet of Akron and
a member of the Akron United Methodist church.
Surviving are three granddaughters, Miss Jerry SMITH, Wabash, Mrs. Bill (Carol)
SMITH, Missouri, and Miss Joyce SMITH, Vietnam, and two great-grandchildren. One daughter
and three sons preceded in death.
Final rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Haupert funeral home, Akron. The Rev.
Claude FAWNS will officiate. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the
funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday and before services Sunday.

Mrs. Hal Maus
Mrs. Hal MAUS of Denver died in her home at 9:30 a.m. today. Funeral services are
pending at the McCain funeral home.
Roy S. Brubaker
Roy S. BRUBAKER, 77, Fort Wayne, died at 8 p.m. Friday in Fort Wayne St. Joseph
hospital. He was born March 2, 1892 in Rochester.
Surviving are the wife, Edna [BRUBAKER]; two sons, Kenneth [BRUBAKER], Simi,
Cal., and Roy D. [BRUBAKER], Kokomo; two daughters, Mrs. Donald COOK and Mrs. Max
ZABST, both of Angola; two brothers, Claude [BRUBAKER], Rochester, and Harry
[BRUBAKER], of Osceola, and a sister, Mrs. L. C. PETERSON, San Diego, Cal.; eleven
grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the D. O. McComb and Sons funeral home in Fort
Wayne. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Park in Fort Wayne. Friends may call at the
funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.
