Cornelia E. McCrosky<br />

Mrs. Cornelia Elizabeth McCROSKY, 88, 1012 Jefferson street, died at 9:30 p.m.<br />

Thursday in the <strong>Rochester</strong> nursing home. She had been ill four years.<br />

Born April 18, 1881, in Wayne township, she was the daughter of Charles and Victoria<br />

JOHNSON ROUCH. Her marriage was Sept. 15, 1915, in <strong>Rochester</strong>, to Cecil W. McCROSKY,<br />

who survives. Mrs. McCrosky had resided in <strong>Rochester</strong> since 1948 and a resident of the <strong>Fulton</strong><br />

area most of her life.<br />

Surviving with her husband are several cousins.<br />

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />

V. LeRoy GARNER and V. A. LALLEMENT will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem cemetery<br />

in Liberty township. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight.<br />

Minnie Eber<br />

Mrs. Minnie EBER, 80, Akron, died Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Woodlawn hospital. She<br />

had been in failing health one month.<br />

Born July 8, 1889, in Middletown, O., she was the daughter of James and Cyrena<br />

POFFENBARGER POTTENGER. Her first marriage was in 1906, to James SEBRING, who died<br />

in 1948. Her second marriage was in 1955, to Ervin PARKER. He died in 1959. Her third<br />

marriage was in 1961, to Alvin EBER, who died in 1963. She was a lifetime residet of Akron and<br />

a member of the Akron United Methodist church.<br />

Surviving are three granddaughters, Miss Jerry SMITH, Wabash, Mrs. Bill (Carol)<br />

SMITH, Missouri, and Miss Joyce SMITH, Vietnam, and two great-grandchildren. One daughter<br />

and three sons preceded in death.<br />

Final rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Haupert funeral home, Akron. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />

Claude FAWNS will officiate. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the<br />

funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday and before services Sunday.<br />

Mrs. Hal Maus<br />

Mrs. Hal MAUS of Denver died in her home at 9:30 a.m. today. Funeral services are<br />

pending at the McCain funeral home.<br />

Roy S. Brubaker<br />

Roy S. BRUBAKER, 77, Fort Wayne, died at 8 p.m. Friday in Fort Wayne St. Joseph<br />

hospital. He was born March 2, 1892 in <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Surviving are the wife, Edna [BRUBAKER]; two sons, Kenneth [BRUBAKER], Simi,<br />

Cal., and Roy D. [BRUBAKER], Kokomo; two daughters, Mrs. Donald COOK and Mrs. Max<br />

ZABST, both of Angola; two brothers, Claude [BRUBAKER], <strong>Rochester</strong>, and Harry<br />

[BRUBAKER], of Osceola, and a sister, Mrs. L. C. PETERSON, San Diego, Cal.; eleven<br />

grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.<br />

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the D. O. McComb and Sons funeral home in Fort<br />

Wayne. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Park in Fort Wayne. Friends may call at the<br />

funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.
