Roscoe E. Plunkett<br />
Roscoe E. PLUNKETT, 76, Belleair Beach, Fla. died Aug. 7, it was learned here today.<br />
He is survived by his wife, the former Edna KEPLER, who was born and reared in <strong>Rochester</strong>, and<br />
a son, James [PLUNKETT], of South Bend. Mrs. Plunkett is a sister of Orlen “Brick” KEPLER, a<br />
longtime resident of <strong>Rochester</strong> who now lives in Dunnellon, Fla.<br />
Earl E. Chapman<br />
Earl E. CHAPMAN, 86, R.R. 5, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died unexpectedly at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the<br />
Murphy Medical Center at Warsaw.<br />
Born April 27, 1884, in Argos, he was the son of Monroe and Lavina FISH CHAPMAN.<br />
His mrriage was to Myrtle SENSIBAUGH, who preceded him in death. Mr. Chapman had<br />
resided most of his life in the Talma and Mentone areas. He operated a general store in Talma<br />
from 1914 to 1928. He had worked in groceries in the Mentone area. He was a member of the<br />
Harrison Center United Methodist church.<br />
Surviving are three brothers, Merble [CHAPMAN], Tiosa; Russell [CHAPMAN], Talma,<br />
and Charles [CHAPMAN], of Goodland; two sisters, Mrs. Audrey COLE and Mrs. Jessie<br />
CALLIS, both of Goodletsville, Tenn.<br />
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the King Memorial home in Mentone. <strong>The</strong> Rev.<br />
R. O. MIKELS will officiate. Burial will be in the Harrison Center cemetery. Friends may call at<br />
the funeral home.<br />
Olive May Krieg<br />
Mrs. Olive May KRIEG, 90, R.R. 1, Denver, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday at her residence.<br />
She was born June 9, 1880 to Henry and Matilda GAERTE in Miami county. In 1902<br />
she married Orien KRIEG, who survives. She had lived all her life in Miami county and was a<br />
member of the Emanuel Evangelical church of Akron.<br />
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Ethel) SANDERSON, Peru; three<br />
grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.<br />
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Haupert funeral home in Akron with the Rev.<br />
Claude FAWNS officiating. Burial will be in the Gaerte cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral<br />
home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
