NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

The calm before the storm!
I went home on leave for six hours every day for the next
whole week. That Wednesday I phoned Julie – who had
finished her terribly badly paid part-time job with Goldsborough
Care Homes, but not yet started her new job as a ‘domiciliary
care worker’ i.e. living–in with her client. She had not even
asked her new employer, Allied Homecare, what the rate of pay
was, so I got her to phone them then call me. She rang back
delighted – she got two or three weeks work at a time, then a
week off, unpaid obviously, at a rate of paid work of as much
money in each paid week as her previous job had netted her in
a month! The price was that the living-in hours were 13 hours
a day, 7 days a week for two or three weeks at a time then the
week’s unpaid break – i.e. extremely demanding indeed!
I shopped in Hertford for a stock of fresh pipe tobacco on the
Thursday, my diary records.
On the Friday I had my full 150 mg double depot with the 5mg
PRN procyclidine depot, but had to de-tox with lots of fizzy
drinks that night and until 5pm the next day. As we see, this
de-toxing back on the full depot was to get worse and worse
just after each injection – so I soon stopped the 5mg prn depot
on top, as irrelevant, and started thinking about how to stop
this de-tox being needed each time. As we see in due course,
this meditation on the problem eventually yielded a full answer
– getting the Doctor to accept this from the ‘mere patient’ was
the problem!
The weekend I had a small row with Julie, then it was phone
contact only as she started work in a disabled male client’s
house in Chiswell Green, just south of St Albans, on the
Monday. On the Monday I also rang a Zoe Smith at the Richard
and Judy Book Club, who said my precious parcel of books
worth £60 back in January, must have been lost in the post as
it had gone to Channel 4 TV not Cactus TV, who make the
show. Even when I eventually sent her my last complete set of
the books, in ensuing weeks, she said that they were ‘only
doing Fiction’ this summer!
