NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

Monday 3 rd – Sunday 9 th November 2008.
I had had no adverse reaction when given my depot by a
different nurse to my usual one, who always caused a huge
painful lump in my derriere lasting a week or so! Jemima came
round and we had a heated chat about this, but agreed to keep
to the depot – as being much more stable – with this nurse Jill
giving the injection for the foreseeable future! I rang the
Cambridge HQ about the long shot of my long overdue appeal
about my Community Care Grant of months ago, but they
turned me down again on Thursday when they rang back. As
too low priority a claim – everything on my list, while essential
to me, was ‘luxuries’; as far as the Social Fund were concerned.
I emailed Manuela about the Adwords campaign, saying either
to reduce the number of keywords and/or to raise the budget.
She rang back and we had a long chat – and she said if her
own current efforts with marketing the press release and
review did not produce results very soon (she started in earnest
last week) they would definitely think about both for the
Adwords campaign. I had yet another seeming ‘delaying tactic’
email from www.lulu.com – somebody new yet again – asking
for information like order number I had given them weeks ago
for the four faulty replacement books I had received.
For the next eight days my diary goes very quiet indeed. I had
waited, patiently but anxiously, for some sign of lots of visitors
on my Google stats for two weeks, and now that was just a day
away, for 68 visitors came on the Tuesday, as first appearing
on my Google stats next day, Wednesday 5 th November –
bonfire night’s day.
Tuesday 4 th November, the day my site first got real visitors in
numbers, then, was a significant day too – it was the day that
the first ever black president of the USA, Barack Obama, got
elected and memorably said ‘change has come to America!’ I
had emailed www.amazon.co.uk the previous day about their
wrong title for my book, but correct cover, and now they
emailed saying they had changed to the correct one. So I
emailed Kumar and asked him to put the links back on my ‘how
to order’ page for the bookshops taken off earlier. I tried to get
www.amazon.co.uk to copy all the descriptive material at their
sister site www.amazon.com in the USA but typical dinosaur
