• To succeed in sabotaging my password, so completely
disabling both my email accounts
• Giving me an expensive phone number to call for help with
the ‘security’ issues he blamed for my problems – which
firstly did not work on Monday – and secondly it turned
out to be a message size problem.
Monday 15 th - Sunday 21 st September 2008.
I called 150 again on Monday, having woken late and tired,
having got to bed about 2am, and a different technician sorted
out a new password and assured me the email was now
working. However, the first email still timed out, so I decided it
must be its sheer size causing that, so took out half the eight
attachments and put them in a second email. At last, hours
later on now, that finally worked! I had a quiet day, resting
from my efforts of the day before, until I received an email
from Manuela, giving a phone number and email and work
address – but no reply to my earlier emails – whilst saying
Hallowe’en was ‘a tight deadline, but possible’. So I rang her,
and discussed my need to have all nine works featured on the
website, not just the one book, and how to buy them all. Also I
own the domain names www.silee.me.uk and
www.simonlee.me.uk and wanted the former used as the main
name of the new site, with the latter ‘parked on’ that as a
second alternative name. Manuela saw no problem with that.
So I forwarded all the emails I had sent her earlier – which
turned out to have gone to a general admin email address,
unmanned that day.
Tuesday was again very quiet. Manuela telephoned and
acknowledged yesterday’s emails – saying that Hallowe’en was
indeed tight, but still possible, and she had asked her reviewer
to prepare all of the following within the next 10 days if
possible, not the usual 30: -
