week or next week. I wait with bated breath…
5. My daughter Jeni is waiting for her AS level exam retake
results this month, so by next Wednesday 1 st April she will
find out if they are as bad as she believes. We can chat
about where she goes from here, which will involve further
retakes this summer, she said in bed when I phoned her
tonight!
6. Julie has now been out of work and so penniless, with me
helping as I can, for six whole months. I helped her fill
out an application form for a ‘round the houses’ care job
on Saturday. I saw her tonight and she is taking several
copies of her CV to a seminar next Thursday on ‘care for
dementia patients’ – obviously hoping to find this talk
useful and to network with employers present – and give
them her CV. Really she cannot afford to carry on waiting
much longer for a new job…!
Tuesday 24 th March – Monday 20 th April 2009.
A really very quiet four weeks, even with my 52 nd birthday on
the second Monday March 30 th ! My diary up to Friday records
continually 2,500 or so visitors a day to www.silee.me.uk of
absolutely appalling quality – as they were mostly from Russia,
Ukraine and China! - due to the efforts of Shannon Neal of
www.somehits.com. On my birthday she finally agreed to stop
these visits and refund me partially for what she had not sent!
Meanwhile I paid up via Paypal for several other sources of
traffic – only to get a refund from all four out of four such
websites – as their site was corrupt or they failed to answer any
emails. On top of that my bank did not recognise any Paypal
direct debits from my bank account – so all in all, my Paypal
and bank accounts for that week look very messy! In the end
the only money that left my bank account, via my debit card in
the end, went to www.somehits.com and
www.pageranksubmit.com, whom I paid $29 on the Friday to
submit www.silee.me.uk to 100 high Page Rank directories…
