NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

advice I switched to ‘diet’ cola and other soft drinks – and
that change has taken the weight off again – no doubt
along with the frequent walks Julie and I took up to a
couple of weeks ago, in the fine weather then. Julie was
commenting on my paunch until inactivity at home from
unemployment led her to develop a spare tyre round her
stomach too – along with becoming a bra size bigger and
even more buxom than usual! With working hard, long
anti-social hours, she has probably lost half a stone in two
weeks so her own weight problem is also under control
again!
7. Friends and Family. It has been very, very quiet with
my immediate family since Easter two months ago. As
ever I never hear from Jem and Jane, who remain
oblivious and prefer to remain oblivious to all my
problems. That is, my own brother has only ever paid me
one solitary visit of just five minutes while I have spent
years literally in hospital – claiming ‘I live too far away
ever to visit you and as you know have a young family’!
My father and sister always seem to keep themselves
deliberately too ‘busy’ – my father with DIY in his new
house and my sister with her lecturing job – ever to ring
me up for even a short social chat. Of my only two
acquaintances until recently left in the area in ‘mental
health’; both appear to have been ‘taken away’ recently!
Young Chris the Sri Lankan vanished from Ware end of
last year – and Jemima, who works with him, says his
whereabouts now are ‘confidential’ – a mental hospital and
now a Therapeutic Community like I have been threatened
with twice now? My other wacky acquaintance, Paul,
arrived on my doorstep at 10am yesterday, Thursday 11 th
June – and admitted he had just emerged from nine
hideous weeks in Woodhill jail near Milton Keynes – for
assaulting a young girl in the street! Meanwhile I have
made some new friends at the Mind Club.
8. My flat and being here 10 whole years this
September. I am really rather shocked to realise that I
moved to this bedsit homeless in early September 1999,
