NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

£10 cheque fee to see my list of charges. Then I posted off
three letters to Barclaycard, Citi Cards and Capital One. Then I
indeed emailed Damian and politely thanked him and took up
his offer to cancel his services at no charge to me! These
letters should arrive tomorrow and I have asked for an answer
inside a week. So I should get replies, also to my other two
letters requesting writing-off of my whole debt on
compassionate grounds, inside a week or so. Ideally the three
banks will not put up a lot of resistance!
Jeni’s and my sister’s birthdays this Sunday 22 nd
February – we plan to meet up with my father and I and
them a week later…
As I write it is the evening of the two birthdays. I rang my
daughter Jeni, wished her a happy birthday, and promised her
card and (‘expensive’) present for when we meet up in a week
with my father, hopefully Julie, and my sister (who was on
voicemail twice!)
Ups and downs with Julie – with a massive downer on
Valentine’s Night especially!
Nothing could quite have prepared either Julie or I for the ups
and downs of the next three weeks! Initially everything
seemed to be quite rosy and gradually re-establishing our old
relationship of 2007. On Monday 2 nd February we went out for
a light lunch at a café in Amwell End, and took my camera, but
there was just too much snow falling to take any decent
photos. That evening, after 6” of snow had fallen in 24 hours,
we had another snogging and petting session. Julie was busy
the next day as she rushed over to her daughter Rachel and
her grandson – who were both ill with flu. I busied myself
thoroughly cleaning most of my bathroom. The next day,
Wednesday 4 th February, I cleaned the kitchen as well quite
thoroughly. I saw Julie – she had received a worrying letter
from our housing association saying she had too many rent
arrears, and the first steps would be taken towards eviction
should she not start repaying these. Also, the job she had
apparently passed the interview for, way back in December,
was still taking aeons to finalise. The Government Agency
Manpower wrote to her, saying she had a clean Criminal Record
Bureau check – but only now they had finally received that two
